In what can only be described as a miracle, a one-year old baby survived an eleven-story fall from a Minneapolis high rise.
Musa Dayib is currently in critical but stable condition at Hennepin County Medical Center. He has a fractured back, two broken arms, bruised lungs and is breathing with the help of a machine.
Dr. Tina Slusher told KARE that no adult could have survived the fall. Musa was lucky to have landed on a patch of mulch, but the fact that kids are so flexible also helped.
Dr. Tina Slusher
"It's definitely a miracle. It's God's gift to his family," Slusher said. "Kids don't fall this far and make it very often. Especially without a serious brain injury. Little tykes are more flexible and don't break as easily as we do and he also fell in a very small patch of mulch. You or I would've been dead."
The Minneapolis Department of Code Enforcement says the Riverside Plaza balconies are up to code, however Musa's family want something done to prevent something like this from happening again.
"I don't think my brother and his wife will recover from this. They really torture themselves," said Abdirahim Ahmed, Musa's uncle. "We cannot argue about what happened. What happened is what happened? How can we protect the kids that stay in here? Something gotta be done. Something gotta be done."

Lamar Odom endured a night of humiliation Tuesday, May 13. Not only was he denied entry to a West Hollywood club where his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian was partying with her new boyfriend French Montana, he also had to take verbal jabs from paparazzi on the scene.
As Lamar walked back to his car he didn't look happy when one pap asked him: "Do you endorse French Montana?"
The paps continued to try to irritate Lamar by telling him: "Go in there and get Khloe back."
The NBA player kept it moving and did not respond to the instigating paparazzi. Peep the footage below.
SOMA, Turkey (Associated Press) — The death toll in the coal mine explosion and fire in western Turkey increased to 232 on Wednesday, the prime minister said. The fate of around 190 miners remained unclear in one of Turkey's worst mining disasters.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the announcement Wednesday during a visit to the coal mine in Soma, about 250 kilometers (155 miles) south of Istanbul.
Earlier, Erdogan declared three days of national mourning, ordering flags to be lowered to half-staff. Erdogan postponed a one-day visit to Albania and visited Soma instead.
The explosion tore through the mine as workers were preparing for a shift change, officials said, which likely raised the casualty toll because there were more miners inside the mine than usual.
Mining accidents are common in Turkey, which is plagued by poor safety conditions. Turkey's worst mining disaster was a 1992 gas explosion that killed 263 workers near the Black Sea port of Zonguldak.
In Istanbul, hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the headquarters of the company which owns the mine, Soma Holding.
Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said 787 people were inside the coal mine in Soma at the time of the explosion and 363 of them had been rescued so far.
"Regarding the rescue operation, I can say that our hopes are diminishing," Yildiz said.
Turkey's Labor and Social Security Ministry said the mine had been inspected five times since 2012, including in March of 2014, and that no issues violating work safety and security were detected.
The country's main opposition party said that Erdogan's ruling party had recently voted down a proposal for the establishment of a parliamentary inquiry into a series of small scale accidents at mines around Soma.

Apparently the elevator scrap between Solange and Jay Z didn't do irreparable damage to their relationship because the two were out shopping for jewelry together on Tuesday, May 13.
TMZ reports the two visited the high end jewelry shop Mr. Flawless in New York City. The store's owner Greg Yuna personally assisted them while they browsed. Solange and her brother-in-law left after 20 minutes without purchasing anything.
This morning Beyonce showed support for her sister by sharing four photos with her.
Looks like the family is circling the wagons around each other.

We're proud to present sexy model Aimee Ovalles. Check out her bio and great photos. We're sure you will enjoy.
Bio:
1. Where are you from? Family background? City? Borough?
Aimee : My earlier years as a child I lived in Israel. Which makes me a dual citizen: Israeli and American. My parents are from the Dominican Republic hence my Spanish features. We've lived in the Bronx, New York for a majority of time. Other times in Harlem. We moved a lot.
2. How long have you been in the game? What are some of the challenges you've faced?
Aimee : I'd say about 2 years now. It was shortly after moving back to the US from Poland. I didn't like my options work wise when I got my degree and a 9-5 as a legal aid was not my dream. Acting is. I started taking classes during the day and auditioning. I needed to handle my finances so bartending at night kept my head above water. Then I started meeting people who came after me for shoots. It's been a ride ever since. Challenges...at first my challenges were auditioning and getting the parts but the projects have not taken off due to finances or others being phonies. I then dedicated myself to be able to book editorials and ad campaigns so I recently dropped 30 pounds and worked my body into its best healthy and physical manner and now the actual challenge begins. Getting the work from these big brands. I'm aiming for fitness ads.
3. What are some of your more notable gigs? Any projects your working on now?
Aimee : My interviews with celebrities on the red carpet for the premiere of Glam Fairy on the style network. They're available on YouTube. Other gigs are walking several fashion shows for designers for fashion week. A music video. My present work are coming soon so I'd rather show you then tell you. Presently I teach belly dance classes in New York and New Jersey.

After 3 great Batman films director Christopher Nolan and lead actor Christian Bale have moved on. Ben Affleck has stepped into the role of The Caped Crusader.
We'll see him in the role when Batman vs. Superman hits theaters in 2016. After teasing a photo of the batmobile on Monday, May 12, Batman vs. Superman director Zack Snyder revealed the first photo of Affleck as Batman.
Do you approve of Affleck being chosen for the role of Batman?
The photo above is the last one left on Solange'sInstagram of her sister Beyonce. All of the others have been deleted. The timing is odd because the video of Solange's fight with her sister's husband, Jay Z, just leaked yesterday.
The pic was posted 15 months ago. Instagram users speculate that Solange forgot to delete it.
I hope this all gets worked out soon. Nobody wants to see family issues play out in front of the world.
