In what can only be described as a miracle, a one-year old baby survived an eleven-story fall from a Minneapolis high rise.
Musa Dayib is currently in critical but stable condition at Hennepin County Medical Center. He has a fractured back, two broken arms, bruised lungs and is breathing with the help of a machine.
Dr. Tina Slusher told KARE that no adult could have survived the fall. Musa was lucky to have landed on a patch of mulch, but the fact that kids are so flexible also helped.

"It's definitely a miracle. It's God's gift to his family," Slusher said. "Kids don't fall this far and make it very often. Especially without a serious brain injury. Little tykes are more flexible and don't break as easily as we do and he also fell in a very small patch of mulch. You or I would've been dead."
The Minneapolis Department of Code Enforcement says the Riverside Plaza balconies are up to code, however Musa's family want something done to prevent something like this from happening again.
"I don't think my brother and his wife will recover from this. They really torture themselves," said Abdirahim Ahmed, Musa's uncle. "We cannot argue about what happened. What happened is what happened? How can we protect the kids that stay in here? Something gotta be done. Something gotta be done."
