All beats on the EP are featured on Nick Wiz' "Unreleased 90's Hip Hop Instrumentals" project (click here), which was the initial inspiration behind the creation of IIDAAWNW. "And I never lost my hunger man I stayed hungry / If we started talking numbers man they wouldn't love me / Man I'd rather keep the peace but its getting ugly / But fuck it what I'm about to say is what they didn't want me / 60k first week for the Badass / 200k to this day I know you niggas mad / With the 80/20 split my nigga do the math / My nigga Kirk just outsold Troy Ave," Joey rapped.
Troy responded with a scathing diss called "Bad Ass" that currently has him trending worldwide, mainly because he disses deceased Pro Era member Capital Steez.
"Cause I'm a savage, this gon leave you sad bitch / Don't get suicidal like ya friend, here's a casket/ Steez burning in Hell, my burner's in my belt / I'm really killing shit, you niggas killing yourself / Fucking weirdos, off the roof, 'Steer clear yo!' / This niggas tryna fly, he think he a superhero / Splat man! Fuck you and that man / And all three labels you signed to, they wack man."
Sway Calloway of Sway in the Morning reached out to Troy to get his take on the beef.
Troy said he doesn't regret the Steez line.
"He ain't pass away he killed himself," Troy told Sway. "That's the difference, he took his own life. God gave you life. It ain't your right to take that."
He added that if Joey would never have added Kirk into the beef things wouldn't have escalated to this point.
"It's no rules in reactions and it's no rules in beef," Troy said.
