Rihanna can add another impressive feat to her growing list of accomplishments. The singer's new single "Diamonds" will take the top spot next week on the Billboard Hot 100, giving her 12 chart toppers in her career.
Rihanna passes Mariah Carey as the female artist to reach 12 No. 1s the fastest according to Billboard. The Def Jam star now sits among elite company at No. 4 for the most No. 1 singles tying Madonna and The Supremes (not counting Diana Ross' 6 solo No. 1s).
Only the Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (18) and Michael Jackson (13: not counting the Jackson 5's four No. 1s), have more in the 54-year history of the chart. At only 24-years old, Rihanna is in a great position to one day grab the top spot on the list.
