Nicki Minaj Says Drake Is 'Wack' -- But She's Kidding!

Nicki Minaj and Drake roll like brothers and sisters. So it was no surprise when Nicki told us about a playful spat they had on tour at the Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival. "Actually I think Drake is wack and I don't think he deserves [his accolades]," she joked. "I'm sorry. We just had a fight in the back. I was about to punch him dead in his face. [One of his mangers] Cortez intervened." Minaj got a little more serious, clarifying that she and Drake do not have any gripes with one another. They are thick as thieves. "We're super-close," she explained. "Before all of this started, I would tell him, 'You're a star.' And he'd be like, 'You're a star.' And we'd kinda been each other's biggest fans. To see his dreams come into fruition, it makes me very happy. And my mentor is the great Lil Wayne. I have great influences around me right now. I'm looking to raise the bar and not let them down." Nicki's one of the featured acts on Lil Wayne's Young Money family album, dropping the same day as his solo LP The Rebirth on November 24. Minaj already has a few favorite tracks. "There's a song called 'Girl You Know,' " she revealed. "I'm just gonna say the Barbie dolls are gonna love it. I think Omarion is on that one. Of course, Tyga, [Jae] Millz and Drake, Gudda Gudda, Wayne. It was so well put together. I think that's gonna be a big one. We have another one called 'Young Money' salute. Not sure if that one's gonna become a single, but it's real spittin'. It brings us back to times when he had teams that where invincible, like the Bad Boy movement, the Cash Money movement."

Tour Dates Announced For Lil Wayne,Young Jeezy,Drake & Soulja Boy Tell Em Tour

It's not a tour, it's a "music festival"! As we reported earlier this month, Lil Wayne is going back on the road this summer, and he'll be joined by Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy Tell'em and Drake. The outing was officially announced on Monday morning (June 15) and dubbed Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival. The tour starts July 27 at the Toyota Pavilion at Scranton, Pennsylvania, and ends on August 23 in Dallas. According to the tour's reps, Weezy will headline, after Jeezy, Soulja Boy and Drake go on in front of him. All parties are currently working on new LPs. Lil Wayne's Rebirth is due in August, while Jeezy's Thug Motivation 103, Soulja Boy's The DeAndre Way and Drake's Thank Me Later do not have dates yet; Drake has not even signed with a label yet. Over the weekend, Drake talked with MTV News about the tour. "It's definitely moving along well," he said. "I think it will be an exciting night for each city that we go to. Lil Wayne To Headline Tour This Summer With Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy Tell'em & Drake

A really big rap tour is exactly what the game needs right now. A rep for Soulja Boy Tell'em told MTV News that the rapper will be joining Lil Wayne on tour this summer, along with Young Jeezy and Wayne's fast-rising protégé Drake. Sources in Wayne's camp told MTV News they are confident that a tour with at least some of the four players will happen. In May, Drake told MuchMusic about a similar tour that, at the time, was supposed to include Jay-Z. "God willing, if everything goes according to plan and everybody's schedule is in place, then I will be on tour with some amazing people," Drake said. "One of them being Jay-Z, one of them being Lil Wayne, one of them being Young Jeezy and one of them being me." Jay has lined up a tour this summer, with Ciara opening up some dates, that kicks off in Las Vegas on July 3. Thursday night from the Los Angeles Lakers game, Soulja Boy Tell'em announced the tour on Twitter. "TSA (Twitter Service Announcement) — I'm going on Tour with Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy & Drake this summer! Get ya tickets ASAP!!!!" he Tweeted. Dates for the tour are still being locked down. Drake has been working on Rihanna's next album as well as his proper debut album. Soulja Boy has been in the lab recording, as has Young Jeezy. Wayne told us on Sunday that his long-awaited Rebirth album is done. It's now scheduled for an August 18 release, although a new single has not been announced. "I wanted to grow, and show my growth as well," Wayne said after the MTV Movie Awards. "It's a difference from when you go in a room and come out and you're better and everyone says, 'How did you do that?' So with this album, I wanted everyone to see my growing pains." Wayne recently wrapped up his I Am Music Tour with T-Pain, Gym Class Heroes, Gorilla Zoe, Keyshia Cole and others.

T.I.'s Girl, Lil Wayne's Ex Star In 'Tiny & Toya' Reality Show

Former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Lil’ Wayne’s ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Carter are set to star in a new BET reality series, the network announced this week. Tiny and Toya will chronicle the two women defining their purpose and building a brighter future for themselves. Based in Atlanta, the new show follows the lives of these two young women, who in addition to co-parenting two of Hip-Hop’s biggest stars, also happen to be best friends. Tiny and Toya will follow the two as they strive “to find inner-strength, peace and purpose,” a description of the show says. Both women are also seeking to be defined outside of the shadow of the men in their lives. Despite her success with 90s R&B group Xscape and being a Grammy and ASCAP Award winning songwriter, Tiny is best known for her ongoing long-term relationship with rapper T.I. The two have two sons together, the oldest of which is now four. The couple made headlines yesterday (May 27) when, on the day after T.I. started his jail sentence on federal gun charges, a source close to the family announced that they were in fact married. However, today (May 28), T.I.’s publicist Sydney Margetson dismissed the reports as “absolutely not true.” Toya Carter is the mother of Lil’ Wayne’s eldest Reginae Carter. Five years after the birth of their daughter, Wayne and Toya got married on Valentine’s Day 2004. However, they divorced two years later. A year later, in 2007, Toya made headlines when she spoke to Vibe Magazine about the relationship after her ex had denied in interviews that they were ever in love. The first Tiny and Toya 30-minute episode will debut at 10pm on June 30.
