Lupe Fiasco decides to keep it simple an goes with an all black theme for the cover art to his fourth studio album Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 1.
The cover is reminiscent of Prince's 1994 project titled The Black Album, which was released as a reaction to critics who said he had gone too-pop. It was his attempt to regain his African American audience.
Lupe's previous album, Lasers, received criticism in some corners that he too had gone pop. With the release of his new "Bitch Bad" music video, Lupe shows that he is still very much in touch with his roots.

Miguel has released the tracklist to his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream. The singer has taken a unique approach leading up to the album's October 2nd release date.
He's giving fans previews of several songs off of the project in the way of two EPs. Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview hit iTunes on July 30th. Kaleidoscope Dream: The Air Preview drops on September 11th.
The final full-length album will combine the two digital EPs with five new songs.
