The 86th annual Academy Awards were held in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 2. It was a big night for the film 12 Years a Slave, which won Best Picture, while actress Lupita Nyong’o took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.

Other notable winners included Matthew McConaughey, who won Best Actor in a Leading Role for Dallas Buyers Club, Jared Leto was awarded Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Dallas Buyers Club and Cate Blanchett took home the award for Best Leading Actress for her role in Blue Jasmine.
