MIAMI -- (Local 10) South Florida rapper Kodak Black was involved in a prison fight in Miami on Tuesday night that left one guard hospitalized.
The fight which started between two inmates occurred at the Federal Detention Center at 33 Northeast 4th Street.
The rapper, whose real name is now Bill Kapri, got into the fight with another inmate and kicked the guard in the groin while he was attempting to break up the altercation.
The injured guard was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. His current condition is unknown.
Kapri pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges and was in the detention center as he awaits sentencing scheduled for Nov. 13. The rapper could face up to eight years in prison.
Prosecutors originally charged Black with crimes including falsifying information on federal forms to buy four firearms from a Miami-area gun shop on two separate occasions.
Authorities said one of the guns was found at the scene of a March shooting in Pompano Beach.

That's how legendary Texas running back Earl Campbell says he'd fix the Longhorns' woes ... and the 64-year-old seems dead serious about it.
The NFL Hall of Famer spoke with the Austin American-Statesman this week when he made the claim ... saying, "All these schools that are winning, even in the pros, have black quarterbacks."
Campbell added, "When guys are not open, something can still happen."
Texas has lost three games this season ... and has only won more than seven games in a season just one time since 2014. Its current starter, Sam Ehlinger, is white.
The Statesman reports Campbell cited successful QBs like Tua Tagovailoa (who's actually Polynesian), Vince Young, Jalen Hurts, Deshaun Watson and J.T. Barrett to back up his claim.
"Until the University of Texas realizes -- and nothing against Ehlinger, you got to have a talented, black quarterback."
Campbell played 4 seasons for UT from 1974 to 1977 ... piling up 4,443 rushing yards and 40 rushing TDs. He went on to have a legendary NFL career, rushing for 9,407 yards in 9 years.
Campbell was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1991.

SHELBYVILLE, Kentucky -- (New York Post) This was fowl gunplay.
An irate KFC customer reportedly shot out a drive-thru window at a Kentucky outpost after she was not given a fork and napkin.
The wild incident unfolded at the fast-food chain in Shelbyville, Ky., on Monday afternoon, CBS affiliate WLKY reported.
Witnesses told the news outlet that a woman opened fire through the take-out window when she did not receive a fork and napkin.
Shelbyville resident Steve Cook posted an image to Facebook Monday showing the shattered drive-thru window.
“This happen[ed] at KFC early today some [woman] got [mad] over paper towels and a fork and shot a 9 mm at workers in Shelbyville,” Cook captioned the photo, which was shared on the social media site more than 11,000 times.
Charlene Witt, the manager of a Subway restaurant across from the KFC, told WLKY: “I just can’t even think about what was going through their head to pull out a gun and shoot a window. It’s scary.”
Witt, who said she was inside the Subway when the shooting happened, said, “I had a regular customer come in and say, ‘Did you hear about what just happened at KFC?’ I was, like, ‘No.’ He was, like, ‘Someone just shot the window out over here.’”
A spokesperson for KFC told WLKY in a statement, “First and foremost we are grateful that no one was injured. We are working with local authorities as they investigate the incident.”
The business closed early on Monday following the shooting.

We're very sad to report that legendary comedic actor John Witherspoon has passed away.
According to Deadline, Witherspoon died suddenly at his home in Sherman Oaks, California on Tuesday, October 29. He was 77-years old.
“It is with deepest sorrow that we can confirm our beloved husband and father, John Witherspoon, one of the hardest working men in show business, died today at his home in Sherman Oaks at the age of 77,” Witherspoon’s family said in a statement to Deadline. “He is survived by his wife Angela, and his sons JD, Alexander, and a large family. We are all in shock, please give us a minute for a moment in privacy and we will celebrate his life and his work together. John used to say ‘I’m no big deal’, but he was huge deal to us.”
The actor is probably best remembered for his roles in Ice Cube's "Friday," "Next Friday" and "Friday After Next" movies.
Witherspoon was also the voice of Robert Freeman in the popular animated series "The Boondocks."
Other television and film roles included appearances in "Black Jesus," "Soul Plane," "Vampire In Brooklyn" and "Hollywood Shuffle."

Fox News -- A 13-year-old girl in southwestern Brazil allegedly beat her older pregnant sister to death and cut out her unborn baby to give to another woman before killing her nephew, who reportedly caught her in the act.
Police in Porto Velho said the unidentified teenager confessed to bludgeoning her older sister Fabiana Pires Santana, 23, with an iron bar before stabbing her multiple times.
Santana was 8 months pregnant when the girl attacked her.
The teenager is also accused of drowning Santana’s 7-year-old son, Gustavo, who allegedly attempted to save his mother’s life, FocusOn News (via the Sun) reported this week.
The brutal attack occurred sometime before Oct. 18, when family members said Santana and her son failed to return home.
Another sister found the bodies two days later inside a clay quarry. The child’s body was found floating in a lake a few meters from his mother’s body, Brazilian news outlet Rondoniagora reported
Police said the 13-year-old carried out the attack with a 15-year-old boy on the orders of a woman, Catia Rabelo, who was allegedly the mastermind behind the brutal killings.
Police Chief Leisaloma Carvalho told Rondoniagora the 15-year-old boy is Rabelo’s son and they had concocted a plan to get rich with the baby. She said Catia Rabelo had been faking a pregnancy and needed a child so that her prospector boyfriend would marry her.
Rabelo, who went on the run, was arrested last week and has allegedly confessed to inciting the teens to carry out the crime.
Santana’s baby, weighing 3.9 pounds, was found alive in the care of the 15-year-old boy. It was taken to a local hospital for observation.
Carvalho told reporters that the 13-year-old suspect claims the grisly crime was an act of vengeance against her sister.
“The girl made a separate claim that she committed the crimes out of revenge because she was sexually abused by her sister’s husband and ill-treated by Fabiana, who didn’t believe her stories,” the police chief said, according to FocusOn News.

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities say a 14-year-old girl punched a man dressed as President Donald Trump in line at a Florida haunted house while her friends recorded it.
The Naples Daily News reports that the girl could face a misdemeanor charge of battery for the Saturday attack. Authorities withheld the girl’s name because of her age.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office says the man and his family were in line to go into the Naples Haunted Gross House exhibit at the county fairgrounds when the girl walked over to him and punched him in the jaw.
The man told officials that the girl laughed and then ran away.
The victim approached the girl to ask her why she hit him while he was having a good time with his family, NBC reported.
According to the report, the victim then told a worker at the fairgrounds and Collier County Sheriff’s Office that he wanted to press charges against the girl.
According to NBC, the girl's motivation was to "strike 'Trump.'" She was removed from the fairgrounds and may face additional consequences following an investigation.
