Jay Z's controversial Sean Carter Collection at Barney's has rolled out, but according to Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg, nobody is buying in part because the prices of the items are through the roof.

"No normal human being is buying a tee shirt with leather epaulets for $995," Rosenberg said. "How about some En Noir shorts, $2,590. And then there's also of course standard issue black jeans, 365 bucks. How about a hoodie for $3000!? Jay Z has lost touch with reality, and I for one, can't rock with it."

12350468055?profile=original

Ebro later pointed out that Barneys is a high end retailer and the prices of Jay's collection are in line with other items in the store.

What's your opinion? Has Hov lost touch with the common man?

Video After The Jump

STAR talks police shooting at minivan full of small black children, Trayvon Martin's killer George Zimmerman getting arrested again and his on-going drama at Dollar Tree while shopping.

Radio legend Troi Torain (STAR) always delivers hard-hitting objective truth. As a culture critic he is vicious, as a businessman he is relentless, as a luminary he is un-matched.

12349990084?profile=original

Considered a radio pioneer by many, STAR has set precedents on the urban landscape and was recently inducted into News One's "Top 20 Black Radio Jockeys Of All Time."

STAR & BUC WILD made the national stage on MTV (1999) but it was their radio show on New York's Hot 97 and Power 105 (2000 - 2006) that secured their place in Hip-Hop history.

Torain's resume includes The Source magazine, MTV Networks, Hot 97, Power 104.1, Power 105.1, Pulse 87, Hip-Hop Weekly magazine, Vladtv, Thisis50, 100.3 The Beat, shot97.com and VH1 (The Gossip Game).

This clip is from STAR's LIVE show (12noon -- 2pm) on http://shot97.com.

Video After The Jump

Chris Brown's stint in anger management rehab didn't go so well. He was kicked out after only two weeks for violent behavior.

Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, took him to a Malibu treatment facility on October 30, after his client was charged with assault for allegedly punching a man in the face while in Washington, D.C.

On November 10, Brown was visited by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, for a family counseling session. Hawkins wanted her son to remain in treatment. The singer became angry, walked outside and shattered a window on his mother's car by throwing a rock through it, according to the L.A. Times.

Nobody was injured, but the facility sent Brown packing.

12350469452?profile=original

Geragos and Brown appeared in a Los Angeles court today for a probation progress report stemming from Rihanna's 2009 felony assault. The Probation Department recommended live-in anger management for the singer and the judge agreed.

12350469669?profile=original

Brown was ordered to check into an anger management facility for 90 days. The facility must be in L.A. County and approved by the Probation Department.

Breezy also has to perform 24 hours of community service a week while in rehab, undergo periodic drug testing and take any medication prescribed by the rehab facility.

Still hanging over Brown's head is the Washington, D.C. case. He pleaded not guilty last month to a misdemeanor assault charge. He will be allowed to attend court proceeding there. The L.A. judge wants to be updated on the case. Depending on how that goes, Brown could have his probation revoked and be sent to jail.
