Long before Eminem became a superstar he was destroying rappers during battles in Detroit. His longtime friend, Royce Da 5'9, recently spoke with Vlad TV about the recent Total Slaughter event and why he believes Slim would still be unbeatable today in a battle.
“I don’t know,” he said to VladTV when asked if Eminem will return to battling. “I haven’t had a conversation with him in depth about his ‘return.’ It sounds so far-fetched to me but you never know, I never speak for Marshall, that’s one thing I never do because he’s very spontaneous like I am.
"You never know, man," he continues. "If he wakes up one day and decides he wants to do it, it’s his platform [so] he can do it. Whoever it is is gonna lose. Nobody is gonna beat Em. I don’t care what anybody has to say it’s just my personal opinion. All of that shit that Dizaster does connecting the syllables, he’s like a fine mixture of a lot of great battle rappers and [Eminem] still has that. He can still freestyle and I think it would be great if he were to do that, definitely. But I don’t know if it’ll happen or not.”
There are so many great emcees I would like to see Eminem battle. He doesn't need the money, but he still has the hunger for competition. You hear it whenever he is on a song with another rapper. Karrueche Tran has broken up with Chris Brown so many times he's grown numb to it all. The latest split comes after Breezy liked two photos of his former girlfriend, Rihanna, on Instagram.
A source told TMZ that wasn't the only reason for the split: "Chris acts immature, like a child."
Instead of working to get Karrueche back, Chris headed to St. Tropez to party and he brought one of Tran's best friends with him.
Here's Chris, who packed on some pounds while jail partying with Karrueche's friend.

Daylyt shared his thoughts on why he thinks that "white dudes are about that life more than black dudes," and also how he thinks Dizaster is the Devil, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.
Daylyt explained the difference between how "black dudes" demonstrate they are "about that life," as opposed to the heightened extremes that "white dudes" will resort to when things go south in their lives.
He also spoke about how he believes that Dizaster has the Devil and dynamite inside of him when he raps, and went on to share stories of Dizaster living through rough times financially while he was on the Total Slaughter TV show.

GQ has put together a list of their top 21 Albums of the 21st Century. At the top sits Kanye West's 2010 classic My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
It's easy to see why GQ thinks so highly of MBDTF. Songs like "Power," "All of the Lights," "So Appalled," "Blame Game," Devil in a New Dress," "Monster" and "Dark Fantasy" clearly makes this album a must listen.
BECAUSE: It could've been any one of the seven albums West released this century, as fascinating a catalog of celebrity, triumph, love, loss, terrible puns, pretty decent puns, that was ever fucking put together by a single artist. MBDTF was just the record where he talked about all those things at once—a portrait of a man seizing the spotlight, drowning in it, and then somehow finding a way to turn that harrowing experience into art. Anybody who wants to be famous or make music for a living—or do both at the same time—should be forced to listen to MBDTF first. The rest of us are free to enjoy it for the bloody, hard-won, titanic achievement that it is.

Kendrick Lamar and director Kahlil Joseph have teamed up for m.A.A.d., a short film inspired by K Dot's debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city.
The 14-minute flick will debut on August 9th at the Sundance NEXT Fest in Los Angeles. Kendrick's trek as Kanye West's opening act on the Yeezus tour will be documented in the film, which is described as “a kaleidoscope of storylines and ideas that defy typical categorization to explore new languages and new forms."

**UPDATE** August 1
Remy Ma's return home has been delayed. Revolt TV reports that the rapper is facing disciplinary action for a rules violation.
According to the report, Remy has spent the last week in solitary confinement for a July 21st infraction. That happens to be the same day she called into Power 105.1 to speak with Angie Martinez about her impending release.
It's not known if that call is the reason Remy is being disciplined.
She now has to wait until a report about the incident has been resolved before her release date is reset.

23-year old Jahmel Binion suffers from hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. A rare disorder that causes partial or complete absence of certain sweat glands, heat intolerance, fever; abnormally sparse hair and absence and/or malformation of certain teeth..
When Binion posted a selfie earlier in the year he was made fun of by Waka Flocka, Shaquille O'Neal and Utah Jazz player Trey Burke. All of whom helped spread the photo by sharing it with their followers.
Shaq and Burke later personally called Binion to apologize.
"Made a new friend today when I called and apologized to Jahmel Binion. Great dude. #alwayslearning #MYBADCUZ," Shaq tweeted.
In May Binion told The Okland Press that he doesn't believe the apologies were sincere.
“When they said sorry, I felt like they were saying it to get the pressure off of them for being considered ‘bad people,’” Binion said. “Even though I accept their apology, I still hope that they donate to my cause or other organizations that connect with ectodermal dysplasia.”
On Wednesday, July, 30, Binion filed a lawsuit in Macomb County Circuit Court against Shaq, Burke and Waka for general negligence, invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress and defamation, according to the Macomb Daily.
“The defendants mocked and ridiculed the plaintiff, a person completely unknown to themselves in public forums where their activity would be widely disseminated,” the lawsuit says. “The defendants’ communications clearly implied that the plaintiff was an appropriate object of mockery, ridicule and shame” and “had the effect of lowering the plaintiff’s reputation in the eyes of those who respected the views and opinion of the defendants.”
Binion’s attorney, John Henke III, estimates the photos were seen by at least 8.4 million people.
“Over 1,000 people were making fun of me,” said Binion. “I felt mad because the picture was already getting talked about and passed around, and for celebrities to get in on it made me look at them less of a role model than they’re suppose to be.”
Binion has started the Facebook group "Hug Don't Judge." It has over 22,000 members.
He's seeking more than $25,000 in damages from the lawsuit.

Back in March Future performed this song at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. People immediately recognized how similar it sounded to Beyonce's hit record "Drunk in Love."
Future said at the time the song was meant for his latest album, Honest, but didn't make the cut.
"I was recording with this producer by the name of Detail, we was working on the ‘Drunk in Love.’ And we started working on this other record at the same time, and then once ‘Drunk in Love’ came out, it pushed this song to the side, but at the same time it’s one of my favorite songs that didn’t make the album.”

The big guy's voice is probably not suited for singing, but at least he doesn't take himself too seriously. He even got a Twitter shout out from Sam
