(ESPN) Floyd Mayweather told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith in a text Tuesday that he would be open to a rematch after Manny Pacquiao recovers from shoulder surgery to repair a tear in his rotator cuff.

"I will fight him in a year after his surgery," Mayweather texted Smith on the heels of his unanimous decision over Pacquiao in the richest fight ever.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache told ESPN.com on Monday that Pacquiao will have surgery later this week to repair a "significant tear" in his rotator cuff, which he suffered prior to the fight. The surgery will sideline the boxer for at least nine to 12 months.

The 38-year-old Mayweather (48-0, 26 KOs) has one fight remaining on his Showtime contract and has stated several times that he intends to retire after a final fight in September, although he admitted during Saturday's postfight news conference that he is "human" and occasionally contradicts himself.

And when asked about his desire to move past legendary former heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano -- who achieved a 49-0 record with 43 KOs, Mayweather said he didn't get into the sport to "outdo" anyone. He also casually mentioned Monday he would vacate the world titles he currently holds.

The MGM has plans to open a new MGM Grand Arena in April 2016, which just happens to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Marciano's retirement.

But surgery may not be the only hurdle for Pacquiao, who could face a possible fine or suspension from Nevada boxing officials for failing to disclose his shoulder injury on a form prior to Friday's weigh-in.

"It's not just the fact he didn't fill out the question completely, it was that he wasn't honest and they didn't tell us a month ago when he had the shoulder injury," Nevada Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett said. "They're not obligated to, but two hours before the fight they wanted a shot that's a painkiller, in essence. That put us in a very precarious position."

12351528087?profile=original

Said commission chairman Francisco Aguilar: "We will gather all the facts and follow the circumstances. At some point we will have some discussion. As a licensee of the commission you want to make sure fighters are giving you up-to-date information."

Pacquiao's promoter put out a statement on behalf of the fighter late Monday afternoon saying that the injury was disclosed to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, which approved the use of an anti-inflammatory shot for the fight. But USADA was only a third party to the fight, charged only with testing the fighters for banned substances in training and the night of the bout.

"We had no medical information, no MRIs, no documents," said Travis Tygart, who heads the USADA. "It was not an anti-doping issue. The real question is why his camp checked 'no' on the disclosure. Either they made a terrible mistake to not follow the rules or they were trying not to give information to the other side. I'm not sure there's a middle ground."

Tygart said his agency, which was hired by promoters to oversee drug testing for the bout, was contacted April 7 asking about the use of various substances and whether they were allowed under anti-doping rules. He said there was another call 10 days later asking about using a different substance, again for what the USADA was told was an unspecified shoulder problem.

A little more than two hours before the fight, Pacquiao's corner asked Nevada regulators whether he could be given a shot of Toradol, an anti-inflammatory. Aguilar denied it, saying the commission had no previous indication that there was an injury and could not allow a shot in fairness to the Mayweather camp.

"Our job is to protect the health and safety of fighters and the integrity of the sport," Aguilar said. "We expect our fighters to be forthright."

33-year old Lawrence Taylor Jr. is heading to prison for the next 10 years after striking a plea deal on statutory rape and child molestation charges involving two 13-year old girls.

As we previously reported, LTJ, the son of Hall of Fame football player Lawrence Taylor Sr., was accused of having sex numerous times with one of the teenagers in 2012.

LTJ forced oral sex on the second victim in 2013.

Taylor Jr. pleaded guilty to statutory rape, child molestation, and aggravated sodomy (oral sex) on Monday, April 4, in Cobb County, Georgia, according to NBC Sports.

If the case had gone to trial LTJ could have faced up to 25 years to life in prison for an aggravated sodomy or aggravated child molestation conviction. A statutory rape conviction carries the possibility of 10 to 20 years in prison, according to Georgia state law.

Lexington Steele recently chopped it up with VladTV, and the legendary vet was challenged to break down the number of films in which he has appeared, and the number of women with whom he has hooked up with.

Pondering the question of how many films he's appeared in, Lex eventually reveals the approximate sum total of scenes he believes he has under his belt: an impressive 5,000.

As Lexington discloses that he also believes he's slept with about 5,000 women, both in his profession and in his personal life, he says that number would be greater if he were able to do scenes with more white adult actors as opposed to only those who do interracial porn.

Check out the full clip to hear what all he has to say.

LAS VEGAS (Associated Press) — Manny Pacquiao said a right shoulder injury prevented him from fighting at his best in his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Nevada officials also denied Pacquiao's request to take an anti-inflammatory shot in his dressing room before the fight Saturday night. The chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission said the ruling was Pacquiao's fault for not mentioning his injury sooner.

"It's part of the game," Pacquiao said. "I don't want to make alibis or complain or anything ... (but) it's hard to fight one-handed."

Pacquiao, trainer Freddie Roach and promoter Bob Arum were vague on the details of the injury, but confirmed that they considered postponing the bout a few weeks ago.

"I thought he fought a courageous fight under all the circumstances, and I'm very proud of what he accomplished tonight," Arum said.

Pacquiao got hurt some time after mid-March, and Arum said the injury was "the same as the one Kobe Bryant had."

Bryant tore his rotator cuff in January, ending his season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Arum didn't make it clear whether that was the injury he was referencing, but said Pacquiao consulted the same doctor that treated Bryant.

Arum said Pacquiao's camp thought he would be allowed to have an anti-inflammatory shot because he had similar treatment during training. The shots also had been approved by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

But Arum said Top Rank filed incorrect paperwork about the injury, and the Nevada commission ruled against the request for a shot.

Francisco Aguilar, chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission, said the Pacquiao team did not disclose the injury until Saturday night, so the requests for permission to take the shot and to have a personal doctor in Pacquiao's corner were denied.

"We were not aware of his injury until tonight at 6:30," said Aguilar, who made the ruling. "The medications he was taking were disclosed on his medical questionnaire, but not the actual injury. ... This isn't our first fight. This is our business. There is a process, and when you try to screw with the process, it's not going to work for you."

Pacquiao's camp apparently hoped the fighter could compete without the shot. Despite Pacquiao's limitations, Arum said he didn't regret putting Pacquiao into the fight at less than full strength.

"Athletes always fight hurt," Arum said. "We felt that the work that was done on the shoulder during training would give him the opportunity to use the right hand. We were disappointed when in the third round the injury kicked up again, but this is always the case with sports. You get guys injured in training. He then deals with the injury, he thinks he's conquered it, and then he gets re-injured in the game. It happens in football. It happens in any sport."

Mayweather concurred with his former promoter, noting that he fought with injuries to both of his arms and hands.

The post-fight disclosure of Pacquiao's injury adds a legitimate angle to discussion of a rematch.

Pacquiao demonstrably fought with only a portion of his usual punch output, and his inability to use his right hand consistently made it easier for Mayweather to control the fight.

Roach was proud of his fighter's persistence through injury, but frustrated with Pacquiao's ability to implement his game plan, particularly his inability to throw a right hook.

"It was a very close fight," Roach said. "We'd love to do it again, but hopefully that's in the future."

Video After The Jump

On Sunday, April 12, Madonna was a surprise guest of Drake's during his closing set at Coachella 2015. The 56-year old pop icon planted a long kiss on Drizzy's lips as he sat in a chair. The rapper reacted in what seemed like disgust.

The rapper later explained that he enjoyed the smooch, but the bitter after taste of Madonna's lipstick caught him off guard.

12351530069?profile=original

Madonna hasn't forgotten about the embarrassing moment and took a couple of shots at Drake during a Q&A session on Romeo Saturday Night Online.

When asked if the YMCMB recording artist was a good kisser Madonna replied: "You asked the million dollar question,” the singer said, “I kissed a girl and I liked it.”

12351501660?profile=original

Another fan later asked Madonna if there was any advice she would give to her younger self: "Don’t kiss Drake. No matter how many times he begs you to," she replied.

Watch up top.

Snow Tha Product admits that although she looks unassuming as a rapper, the California native told VladTV that she used to embarrass guys at parties that thought they could surpass her skills. She even shared a story about a guy stepping to her after she made fun of his fake Jordans, which thankfully diffused before anything got ugly.

The Atlantic Records emcee also spoke about why she would never step into the battle rap ring for any amount of money, and explains she doesn't want to risk damaging her career over one battle.
