Jay-Z announced the signing of Jay Electronica at New York's The Box yesterday November 12.
Hov has a long history of collaborating with artists from the south, most notably Scarface and UGK, so this signing should come as no surprise.
For the New Orleans born Electronica, this is a well deserved shining moment. He's been grinding on the underground for a while. But it wasn't until his Just Blaze produced banger "Exhibit C" dropped in 2009, did he start to get national exposure.
Congrats to both Jay's on the signing.
