Donald Trump is upset that Snoop Dogg depicted his assassination in the music video for his "Lavender" remix.
The president vented via his Twitter account on Wednesday, March 15, that Snoop is benefiting from a double standard. Trump argued that the rapper would be in huge trouble if acted out a mock assassination of former president Barack Obama.
"Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!" Trump wrote.
As we previously reported, Snoop said the idea to mock assassinate Trump was his attempt to wake up other artists.
"I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as president, and the shit that we dealing with out here," he explained. "So I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being."

We'd like to congratulate Fabolous for recently being recognized for his many accomplishments during his nearly two decade career.
On March 7, he received the Icon Award. A special dinner held in his honor was attended by Omari Hardwick, DJ Clue, Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie and more.
"Congratulations to my brother Fab for being the secret weapon," Swizz said. "I call him the secret weapon. He’s the secret weapon for fashion, the secret weapon for music, the secret weapon for creativity. He’s the secret weapon behind a lot of artists doing what they do today. We gotta support Fab by any means necessary because the culture ... they need Fab."
On March 9, Eric L. Adams, Borough President of Brooklyn gave the "Make Me Better" hit maker the key to his hometown and announced that a street would be named after him, during an event at Borough Hall.
"Thank You to the Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams for presenting me with a Citation, the Key to Brooklyn, & honoring me by naming a street in Brooklyn after me later this year!" Fab captioned an Instagram photo. "I will continue to live by the words of your presentation & keep 'bending the wire.'"

It's been 13 years since The Matrix Revolutions hit theaters. It was supposed to be the third and final film in the revolutionary sci-fi thriller series that grossed nearly $1.8 billion worldwide.
Now, however there is talk that The Matrix may be rebooted.
Deadline reports that Warner Bros is looking into possibilities to make it work. A group of writers are rumored to have been assembled to figure out a way to breathe new life into the franchise.
At this point it's not known if any of main actors, Keanu Reeves (Neo), Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus) or Carrie Ann Moss (Trinity), will be involved or if there will be an all new cast.
Don't think for one second that a character's death in one of the previous films would prevent them from resurfacing in the next. Hollywood has a funny way of making that happen if need be.

A man suspected of murdering Ryan, 24, and Joshua Johnson, 31, has been taken into custody by the New Orleans Police Department.
According to The Times Picayune, Antoine Edwards, 31, was arrested and charged Thursday, March 9, with two counts of second-degree murder.
Ryan and Joshua, the brothers of actress and producer, Toya Wright, were found shot to death inside a car on July 31, 2016.
Wright, the ex-wife of Lil Wayne and mother of his 18-year old daughter, Reginae Carter, posted a photo on Instagram of her brothers soon after the murders with the caption: "Help me Lord. I will never understand this."
Edwards was identified and picked out of a lineup by several witnesses. His bond was set at $500,000. He is due back in court May 7.

Snoop Dogg's new video for "Lavender" is getting lots of attention for it's unflinching negative view of the police, depiction of President Donald Trump as a clown, and a controversial scene in which the POTUS is assassinated by the Long Beach rapper.
"Fuck the police from a black man's point of view / Spray that shit, say that shit / We right in front of you. Each and every one of you / I'm not gon' tell you niggas what we're gonna do / But whatever you did, put two on it / And put a foot on your neck with a shoe on it," Snoop raps on the track, which is a remix of BADBADNOTGOOD's song of the same name featuring Kaytranada.
Snoop told Billboard that to him the song is "not controversial but real" and gives a "real to the voice of the people who don’t have a voice."
As far as Trump is concerned, the "Gin and Juice" hit maker thinks it's time artists wake up and take a stand.
"I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as president, and the shit that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being."
