Calling both North Carolina & New Jersey home, Feli (Felony) Fame does his best to incorporate both influences into his sound. With this DJ DireckT-produced track though, he's gone straight East Coast gritty.
Feli's short film directorial debut, "Dirty Laundry: Greed Has No Face" drops July 30th but until then,

Today, Iamsu! is excited to release his new mixtape, KILT 2. Largely produced by Iamsu! and his production crew, The Invasion, and is available for free download exclusively via LiveMixtapes.
KILT 2 comes on the heels of some very exciting recent months for Iamsu!. After a 2012 that saw him named as one of SPIN's Best New Artists and win accolades for his $uzy 6 $peed mixtape, 2013 opened with a bang, releasing his Million Dollar Afro mixtape, a collaborative effort with Compton rapper Problem. Iamsu! performed at The FADER Fort at SXSW and embarked on his first ever headline tour, a 12-date run, alongside Problem, that capped off with a VICE-sponsored performance in New York City. He's produced and collaborated with Wiz Khalifa; his breakout solo cut, "Mobbin," is a mainstay on MTV Jams; he just recently released a video for the Juvenile-featuring single "100 Grand."
Despite all of those accomplishments, Iamsu!, only 23-years-old, sees KILT 2 as his biggest accomplishment yet - which is exactly why he chose to name it after his original breakout tape, KILT, released in May 2012. Sequels are always tricky, but for Su, naming his latest mixtape KILT 2 felt natural, fitting even. "KILT was such an impactful mixtape in my career," explains Iamsu!, noting that he'd already selected the title before he began recording any of the music. "Recent months in my life, in my career, have been impactful as well, so to name this tape KILT 2 felt right."
Like KILT a year ago, KILT 2 is a statement tape for Iamsu!. "On this tape, I paid extra attention to detail," he notes. "Every song captures a moment and a distinct feeling, so the quality is on another level." Part of that process for Su came on the production side, with the rapper/producer incorporating live instrumentation. "KILT 2 is more musical than anything I've done before," explains Iamsu!. "I played instruments on here; I experimented with vocoder - I composed most of the music and worked with a lot of talented musicians. I tried a lot of new sounds."

50 Cent's empire continues to expand. Variety reports that the Sundance Channel has picked up six hour long episodes of his and Jamie Oliver's reality show "Dream School."
Oliver originally created the format in the U.K.
The uplifting reality show centers on troubled teens who are inspired to turn their lives around as they are taught by leading professionals in different fields, be it musicians, politicians, filmmakers or scientists.
Jamie Oliver
“The series of 'Dream School' we did in the U.K. was one of the things I’m most proud of. We literally changed the lives of many of the kids for the better," Oliver said. "Despite being told in school that they would never achieve anything, they were actually very gifted at art or acting and went on to achieve great things."
The program is being executive produced under Oliver's Fresh One Prods and 50's G-Unit Films and TV. Andrew Jameson and Jonathan Grosskopf are also on board as executive producers.
“The importance of ‘Dream School’ is monumental. Helping to inspire these students to reach their potential is personally gratifying,” 50 said.

Darryl "DMC" McDaniels is one of the pioneers of rap music. As a member of Run DMC, along with Rev. Run and Jam Master Jay, he helped the genre gain the mainstream attention it had been lacking in the early 80's.
These days McDaniels doesn't particularly like the attitude of today's rap stars and would rather hang out with rockers.
"Rappers are cool, but they're a little bit like divas," DMC told Artisan News Service during a recent interview. "I'd rather go with rockers because rockers are like, 'hey, what's up let's go jam.' You start asking a rapper to do something [and you get] 'you gotta speak to my manager, send me the check right now,'"

Jadakiss has big plans for the remainder of 2013. He sat down with Vibe recently to shed some light on a couple of forthcoming projects.
On who will be featured on his Top 5 Dead or Alive album
The L.O.X. is definitely on it. Jeezy, Wiz, Chris Brown… I got Weezy on there, too. The vintage Weezy, that mixtape killer Weezy. I got Rozay, but we may do another one. My son’s favorite artist is J. Cole, so I think I got to throw him on there. He loves A$AP Rocky, but it’ll probably be one of them.
On joint mixtape with Yo Gotti.
Me and Yo Gotti got a mixtape done. We might put it out commercially because it’s all original songs. We probably got to do 2-3 more joints, but that’s going shake sh*t up. That will probably come before my album drops. There’s no title yet but we got some heat rocks.
Are you looking forward to hearing the album and mixtape? What do you think of the album's features?
