Another rapper on the rise has fallen victim to the crime ridden streets of Chicago. Rapper Big Glo aka Blood Money was gunned down in Englewood overnight, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Glo, real name Mario Hess, was attacked by two shooters around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. Police say the 33-year old was hit by as many as 10 bullets. He was rushed to John H. Stoger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. a 28-year old man was also injured in the shooting. He's listed in serious condition.

Glo was the second cousin of Chief Keef. He was signed to Glory Boys Entertainment and had recently inked a deal with Interscope Records.
"It's a lot of crime and violence in Chicago, these rap guys are being targeted, so you know, just trying to get him outside the neighborhood. He's from the streets," Glo's manager, Renaldo Reuben Hess, told the Tribune. "He was basically trying to just get his rap career together because that's a good opportunity. They gave him some money up front. It was a good chance for him to get himself out the hood."

A Santa Ana, California School Police Department officer is under fire after being filmed placing a young boy in a choke hold on Tuesday, April 8.
The video was shot by witness Elvia Fernández. When she arrives on the scene the unidentified cop is on top of the boy who is crying. The cop tells him to stop fighting him. The kid replies, "I'm not fighting you!"
A male witness tells the officer, "You're choking a little kid. He's not fighting you, are you crazy? Are you crazy? Because you're choking him, man!"
Fernández tries to calm the boy down by speaking to him in Spanish, telling him, "No te muevas", "Relájate", and "Aquí estamos nosotros"--"Don't move", "Relax," and "We're here."
The cop responds by telling her to stop speaking in Spanish.
The OC Weekly reports that the kid was being arrested for tagging at Adams Park. Fernández told The OC that the boy appeared to be around 10-years old.
The school police department is currently investigating the incident.

When Nate Dogg passed away in 2011, he left his Pamona, California home to his six children. Now a legal battle is brewing between the estate administrator, who wants to sell the home to pay off some of the singer's debts, and members of the family who want to stop the sale.
Nate suffered a series of strokes starting in 2007, that left him unable to record new music or tour. For that reason he fell behind on payments to the bank on the home. 2 days after he passed away the bank moved to foreclose.
The estate administrator reached an agreement to sell the house last month for $340,000. Nate's family is upset because after debts are paid they would be left with a small amount of money and they want more, according to TMZ.
A judge will now have to decide whether or not the sale will go through.

Sometimes when it's over it gets ugly. That appears to be the case between former couple Big Sean and Glee actress Naya Rivera.
25-year old Sean, real name Sean Anderson, and Rivera, 27, got engaged last October after dating for six months. On Wednesday, April 9, Sean's rep issued a statement to US Weekly, saying the relationship was over.
"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."
The statement refers to a recent report that the rapper had cheated, which he denies. The G.O.O.D. Music artist blames the break up on Naya being a control freak and her jealous nature.
Naya headed to Twitter to accuse Sean of stealing a watch from her crib.
She wrote: "@bigsean stealing rolexes from a lady's house now. Maybe cuz I'm on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin." The tweet has since been deleted.

The problems between Master P and his soon to be ex-wife Sonya Miller continue to mount. As we reported in March, Sonya filed for divorce from the business mogul and made claims that he had cut her off financially, forcing her and their four minor children to move in with her son 24-year old son Romeo. She said things had gotten so bad that she was forced to go on welfare.
Sonya is now throwing more dirt on P, real name Percy Miller. She has filed a court request asking for an emergency custody order because her estranged husband won't bring three of their kids back, according to TMZ.
She claims Master P first nabbed 13-year-old son Hercy after picking him up from school in February, then did the same thing with their 9-year-old son Mercy in March. Around the same time, Sonya claims their 17-year-old daughter Tytyana ran off to live with her dad and won't come back.
Their 14-year old daughter, Italy, is still living with her mom.
Because Sonya only recently filed for divorce a judge has not ruled on who gets custody of the children and how visitation will be arranged. So, Master P hasn't broken any laws.
Sonya wants a judge to grant her full custody now, until things are settled in divorce court.
**UPDATE** April 10
Master P is fighting back against the accusations made by his estranged wife. He claims Sonya has a longtime drug and alcohol problem. His kids admit on camera that she has smoked weed with 2 of them. The kids all said they want to be with their father.
Master P says, "Seriously, why is this news? My kids have been living with me for over three months with their mother's approval. Did she forget? Is this a joke? Where is this custody case file? My kids are old enough to speak how they feel, they ask me to come live with me and I'm not going to deny them. I try to do what any good parent would do, protect and provide for my kids and just do what's best for my kids. If she just wants money, she should just say that instead of using the kids. This is embarrassing for me and my family, we've always lived a private life. I've been dealing with this problem with her for over 24 years and I'm not holding it in anymore. I've stayed by her side for many years, hoping that she would grow and change for the better especially for our kids' sake but after two decades; I realize that I can't change her, I can only change myself. It's not healthy for kids to grow up in a home where they can easily access drugs and alcohol. The reason I've moved on is to provide a peace of mind for myself and to provide a stable and healthy environment for my kids. She may be my ex-wife but I will always love and care for her well-being, she is the mother of my kids. I would never turn my kids against their mom, they love her, she just needs help. I'm going to put it in God's hands and pray for her. I don't know whom she's getting bad guidance from but when she's ready, I'll gladly help her get into rehab. Hopefully then, our kids will be more comfortable around her and if they choose to live with her, I'm good with that. For all the people that are buying into the negative gossip, I'm not perfect and I have nothing to prove. My kids are and always have been my priority, I will continue to take care of my kids and I don't need a judge or a lawyer to tell me to. "
Master P's kids Tytyana, Hercy and Mercy stated that they were never abducted. They admit that since they've been living with their dad, they've been getting to school on time, getting better grades and learning godly family values with their dad.

Three Flint, Michigan residents have been arrested in connection with a video that has been circulating on the internet showing an 11-year old boy being whipped with a belt 60 times.
Demitria Powell, 28, Uteas Taylor, 42, and Stefon Felton, 39, have been charged with three felony child abuse counts, conspiracy to commit third-degree child abuse and committing child abuse in front of a minor.
Powell is the boy's mother. Taylos is his grandmother. All three were arraigned Tuesday, April 8, in front of Flint District Judge Nathaniel C. Perry III.
The trio posted a video that depicted Powell slapping the child in the face and Taylor whipping him with a belt 60 times, while a toddler was present.
The 11-year old was reportedly being disciplined for acting like a "gangster" and "thug" and for poor grades in school.
Powell forces the boy to look into the camera and state his name. She tells him the video will be posted on Facebook. She also says she doesn't care if anyone calls Child Protective Services.
Powell's boyfriend mocks the child while he is being beaten and says he can't show his face on camera because he's spent ten years in prison.
“The adults in this case clearly went beyond what is a reasonable level of ‘parental
discipline,’” said Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton in a statement. “What the video in this case reveals is a group of adults whose actions were a criminal assault against a child and that behavior cannot be condoned nor allowed under the law."
Powell was already on probation for a previous misdemeanor. She was $7,500 bond on all three charges by Judge Perry III.
Taylor and Felton were given $8,500 bond on each charge. All three remain in custody.
