New Jersey based rapper/comedian Nike Gata has been receiving a lot of attention for his fun energetic sports related music. Before his songs made it to the likes of ESPN and NBA 2k, Nike was tricked by his friends who loved his funny freestyles to enter a rap showcase hosted by DJ Drewski of Hot97 radio station. Just like his friends, the crowd was amazed by the energy, ultimately winning the competition. From the smile to style Nike Gata takes over any room he’s in. Backed by songs like ”Lonzo Ball Freestyle” and “Bottom Of The Net” released in 2020, which later were picked up by the biggest sport networks for placement deals, show he’s got something to take seriously.
Born in the mid 90’s, Howell Reynolds (Nike Gata) took a lot of influence from not too many rappers but comedians and athletes. From Martin Lawrence to Will Smith being fly and funny was always cool which is a quote by he lives by it today. Add that with him having a Kobe Bryant mamba like mentality in and out the studio. The guy is entertainingly un-guard able lol.
His stage name Nike Gata is actually his way of paying homage to his favorite athlete Micheal Jordan. Entering the league in 1985 Jordan’s first contracts were from Nike (brand) and Gatorade. He vowed to follow the same steps as his idol. Nike has already had a Gatorade sponsorship for marketing products and has been in talks with Nike (brand) for modeling and possibly more.
Nike Gata Recently signed with Twenty Two Recordings, LLC in partnership with Warner Music Group and Muddy Dreams Management Co. He is geared up to have the whole world rocking with his new hit singles “Sneaky Link” and “Easy”. This kid’s going to be something major, he can't wait to say he told you so. His debut single “Sneaky Link” is scheduled for release on 10/27/2023.

414 Dre: Well, it all started about four years ago when I discovered my passion for music. I had been working as a landscaper, but the desire to create and share my music was too strong to ignore. My first project, "Type Shit," was a pivotal moment, and it marked the beginning of my musical journey. I realized that I had to pursue this wholeheartedly, and I'm glad I did.
Interviewer: Your versatility in music is quite impressive. Can you tell us more about the different genres and styles you explore in your music, and how you approach collaborations in the industry?
414 Dre: I like to keep my music open-ended when it comes to genre. I believe it keeps the audience intrigued, and it allows me to explore my creativity freely. In terms of collaborations, I'm always open to working with both established artists and newcomers. Being a talented MC, I think I have the potential to connect with a wide range of artists, and it's exciting to see where those collaborations can take us.
Interviewer: You mentioned some big names like Nipsey Hussle, Drake, Lil Baby, and Lil Wayne as your aspirations in the industry. What inspires you about these artists, and what do you hope to achieve by working with them?
414 Dre: These artists have made a significant impact on the industry, and I admire their dedication and the quality of their work. Working with them would be a dream come true because it would not only help me grow as an artist but also allow me to contribute to the industry on a larger scale. I believe in setting high goals and working relentlessly to achieve them.
Interviewer: Independence is an essential aspect of your journey. Could you elaborate on your desire for creative control and ownership in an industry where many artists seek major record labels?
414 Dre: Independence has always been important to me. I'm not signed with a record label yet, although I'm open to distribution and record deals. I think creative control and ownership of my work are crucial, and they allow me to maintain my artistic vision. This sets me apart and gives me the freedom to explore my music on my own terms.
Interviewer: Your story is undoubtedly inspiring, coming from a landscaping background to pursuing your dreams in music. Can you share more about how your family has supported you throughout this journey?
414 Dre: My family has been my rock. They've been there for me from the very beginning, supporting my decision to pursue music. Their encouragement, belief in me, and willingness to stand by my side have played a vital role in my journey. I'm grateful for their unwavering support.

414 Dre: I enjoy being involved in every aspect of my music. I write my own material and actively contribute to creating music video concepts. My love for hip-hop also has a significant influence on my music, and I want that to shine through in my visuals as well.

414 Dre: Currently, I'm working on several singles, including my latest release, "FWM." I'm continuously grinding to make a name for myself in the industry. In the next five years, I envision myself focusing more on music, stepping further into the spotlight, and increasing my visibility in the music scene. A seasoned, talented, and impactful presence in the music world- The Official 4PM began in 1991 when Roberto Pena Jr., Larry McFarland, Martiz (Marty) Ware, and Reney (Ray) Pena came together to form an Acapella group named “IV Real.” The group quickly gained recognition, leading to a transformative record deal. Shortly thereafter, they adopted the name “4PM,” which stands for “For Positive Music.”
In 1995, 4PM secured the #8 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 with their debut single “Sukiyaki,” featured on their debut album “Now’s The Time.” The album also achieved gold certification in the U.S., Canada, and Japan, with platinum status in Australia.
Despite their success, changes in their record label’s direction led to a hiatus. The artists embarked on extensive tours in Japan, strengthening their global fan base. In 2009, the group reunited with Martiz Ware in Los Angeles, performing together again and reigniting their passion for creating music.
