50 Cent has been a big influence on more rapper's careers than I can count. Perhaps none more than Chicago rap cousins Chief Keef and Fredo Santana.
Recently Fredo said "Heat" was his favorite song of all time and that 50 paved the wave for Chriaq's Drill music scene.
On Tuesday, September 8, Keef also paid homage to the G-Unit general by posting a video (that he's since taken down), with a caption that read: "50 I still love u! You Still the inspiration along with Tune!!!!!"
Last month we told you about a Straight Outta Compton sequel that was in the works. The movie will reportedly pick up where the first film ended and tell the story of Tupac Shakur, Nate Dogg, Lady of Rage, Tha Dogg Pound and Snoop Dogg.
TMZ nabbed the first pics of the cast and it looks like Death Row Records at it's peak will be a major part of the narrative.
The cast includes Lady of Rage as herself, Dr. Dre's son, Curtis Young, as the legendary producer, Reggie Noble (Suge Knight), DaDa (2Pac), Azad Arnaud (Daz Dillinger) and Melvin Jackson Jr. (Kurupt).
The photos were snapped over the weekend during shooting of a scene at an L.A. studio that depicts the 24-hour session where 2Pac, fresh from being bailed out of prison by Suge, recorded "Ambitionz Az a Ridah"and"I Ain't Mad at Cha."
There is no major studio tied to Dogg Pound 4 Life as of yet, but it's full steam ahead.

If you're familiar with the superstars of the industry, then surely you know about Alexis Texas. A couple years back it was revealed she doesn't do interracial scenes with Black men, a taboo of some sorts in that particular industry. According to Nikki Benz, however, Alexis is far from racist.
Benz says Alexis Texas is "a very good friend" of hers as she alludes to rumors that her film buddy actually has a Black boyfriend. Nikki says a lot of White women who refuse to do interracial scenes simply choose not to, due to their "very territorial" Black partners not wanting to see them in a scene with another Black man, and nothing more.
Watch as she justifies White stars not taking on interracial scenes below.

Two high school players in Texas may have ended their careers before ever playing in college.
The players from John Jay High School in San Antonio, were apparently upset because of what they perceived as bad calls earlier in the game.
One of the two safeties retaliated by blindsiding a referee with a full force hit from behind. His teammate then followed suit.
“I’ve coached 14 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Matt Green, the coach from the opposing team, Marble Falls, according to The San Antonio Express.
Someone took a photo of Roanoke, Virginia killer, Vester Flanagan, while he lay on an autopsy table and is shopping it around to various publications.
Flanagan murdered WDBJ Virginia reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward on August 26, 2015, during a live broadcast. He filmed the shootings from his point of view. He later took his own life.
TMZ reports that the picture was presented to them, but they declined to purchase it.

LAS VEGAS (MMA Junkie) – UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson was almost flawless in a rematch with John Dodson, answering questions from their 2013 meeting with a performance that left no doubt of his superiority.
Johnson (23-2-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC), No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA flyweight rankings and No. 3 on the pound-for-pound list, defended his title a seventh time with a unanimous decision over No. 2 flyweight Dodson (17-7 MMA, 7-2 UFC), tying UFC featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo as the winningest champ on the promotion’s roster.
“Mighty Mouse” even added a little edge to his normally placid demeanor, cursing to UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
“John Dodson was saying that I’m garbage, I’m boring, but look at my face,” Johnson, 29, said afterward. “I look prettier than a motherf-cker, and that’s what technique gets your right there.”
The final scorecards were 49-46 twice and 50-45 for the champ, who despite the dig at Dodson – a vocal antagonist in the buildup to Saturday’s event – congratulated him on the recent birth of a daughter.
Dodson’s ability to find Johnson’s jaw as he did when they first met in 2013 at UFC on FOX 6 was shut down by the champion’s rapid footwork and unpredictable striking. Johnson’s lead right hand repeatedly found its mark, gradually deflating the challenger as the fight progressed. A strategy of attacking Dodson while he defended a takedown also paid dividends, with elbows breaking up punches meant to lull him into complacency.
Dodson’s best frame came in the second round when he opened up more with his hands and caught Johnson with his power left. The blows, however, did not produce result they did in their initial meeting.
By the fifth and final round, however, Johnson stopped threatening takedowns and simply put on a clinic, elevating Dodson on several occasions and slamming him to the mat.
Although a finish eluded him as in 2013, when he earned a much narrower win on scorecards, Johnson said his technique allowed him to carry the day when an eyepoke caught him mid-fight.
“I’m a hard worker, and I knew John Dodson was going to come here and work hard,” he said. “But I love working for what I have.”
Up-to-the-minute UFC 191 results include:
Demetrious Johnson def. John Dodson via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45)
