Keeping true to his word, Lil Scrappy has entered a rehab facility to try and kick a weed habit that has kept him in trouble with the law.
The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star is on probation stemming from a 2008 marijuana conviction. As part of his probation agreement the rapper must abstain from using drugs and alcohol. He's also drug tested regularly.
Leading up to his current stint in rehab Scrappy got in trouble when he refused to submit a fresh urine sample in March, after probation officials suspected his first sample had been tainted with. He left the testing facility and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He turned himself in to police on April 23rd. During a May 22nd court hearing in Georgia it was revealed that Scrappy failed his most recent drug test by testing positive for weed. The Grustle Gang leader vowed to get help for his addiction.
His lawyer told TMZ that his client checked into a rehab facility on Thursday, May 30th. He will be there at least until his next hearing on June 16th. Scrappy hopes the judge will show him leniency.
During his stay at the facility the rapper will have to wake up daily at 6:30 a.m., attend group therapy sessions, one-one-one therapy and have a 10 p.m. curfew. He will not have access to a cell phone or laptop and is not allowed visitors for the first two weeks.

Justin Bieber's security team has shifted the blame onto the shoulders of Tyler, The Creator for the Memorial Day incident in which Justin's Ferrari was seen speeding through a gated Calabasas, California neighborhood.
According to law enforcement, they have been told by Bieber's team that they have video footage that shows it was the Odd Future rapper behind the wheel that night, not Justin.
The problem for Bieber is that several witnesses, including former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson have identified him as the driver according to TMZ. Keyshawn confirmed yesterday that he saw Justin behind the wheel.
As we previously reported, Johnson chased Bieber down in his own vehicle to confront him when he saw the 19-year old speed past him.
The supposed footage of Tyler driving the car has not yet been turned over to police by the singer's security team.
