Chris Brown addressed his Drake diss on Young Jeezy's "R.I.P." remix for the first time today while visiting Sway in the Morning.
“It's rap man. It’s hip-hop. It’s not gonna escalate. It’s like kiddie rap right now. So as far as what I'm doing I’d rather put my frustrations and whatever I gotta say out in my music ’cause I know nothing finna happen, so I say whatever I want. Rebuttals just gonna be stupid. I’m not a rapper, so you gonna be stupid rapping back to a singer. But I’m gonna keep coming n*gga, I don’t care. It's all good, I aim for the top," Chris said.
Sway then threw on Drake's "Started From the Bottom" instrumental for Chris to spit a few bars over.
Chris also stopped by Hot 97 and spit another freestyle for Funkmaster Flex over "Started From the Bottom."

There has been a growing movement by certain influential rap artists that are starting to wear women's clothing. Styles P of The Lox doesn't think it's cool.
As the father of a 14-year old son he says he might lose his cool if his kid came home wearing a Kanye West-type skirt.
"I wouldn't want him to do the Kanye skirt thing. Or to think that sh*t is cool," Styles told Vlad TV. "I might lose my mind temporarily [if my son came home in a skirt]. Temporarily I don't know what the f*ck I would do. That would f*ck me up."
The problem P sees with certain rappers is that they don't offer messages to counter some of the things they say or do that might have a negative impact on the culture.
"When these guys do wear skirts or their clothes that look like female's clothes, I think they have to understand the impact they have on our culture," explained Styles. "And I can't knock them because I talk mad gangster sh*t. So I have to remember at times to balance out. Or remember to say this to the people. Do positive sh*t, go to school, eat healthy, don't go to jail, leave gangster-ism alone. They have to remember that there's a whole fan base of men out there who have sons that's looking like 'damn, Kanye just blew my sh*t. Damn, Wayne just blew my sh*t.'"

LebronJames.com has kicked off their new "Witness" series, which will highlight different experiences from artists, DJ's, executives and journalists.
The first feature is about 50 Cent giving back to the community when he surprised 300 kids at the Brooklyn, New York Boys and Girls Club back in November with a visit and concert.
"It's an opportunity for me to influence the youth," 50 said at the time. "Maybe I can inspire a few people today. It's important that you have different things in the communities that allow the kids constructive things to do with their time. Instead of just idle time."
Joe La Puma, Director of Content Strategy for Complex Magazine, was on the scene for the occasion and writes about what he witnessed
Joe La Puma
“Writing about pop culture and music makes for a fun job. There’s a lot of cool assignments that number-crunchers don’t get to do, and it’s a passion profession that people get paid for. Sometimes when you’re doing the same thing for a number of years you can forget that. But then there are moments that remind you why you started doing this in the first place. Last September I tagged along with 50 Cent for a Complex cover story at a surprise event at The Boys And Girls Club on Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn.
The assignment was awesome because a) I’ve been a 50 stan since my college years, and b) the element of surprise is something that’s always been intriguing to me. Three-hundred kids, ranging from the ages of 8 to 12 packed a small gymnasium and were told they were going to be part of a commercial for the Boys & Girls club. The kids’ faces were unfazed and unenthused initially, but it all changed when 50 emerged from the parking lot. 50′s collab with Alicia Keys “New Day” blasted from the makeshift stage and the kids’ jaws dropped. Screaming and impromptu dancing followed, and 50 went in the crowd where he was swarmed by the youngn’s. “No one is going to believe me!”
One of the kids told me after I asked them about the experience. In my six or so years as a journalist it was the coolest thing I ever witnessed. It’s one of those experiences you can’t help but get chills from. It’s one of those hip-hop writing assignments that’s a lot deeper than album delays and debates. It’s one of those assignments that’s a lot deeper than rap. I’ll remember it forever.”
