When Lil Boosie's murder trial begins April 30th it will have Louisiana's first anonymous jury since 1987.

Boosie, real name Torrance Hatch is already serving an eight-year sentence after pleading guilty to trying to smuggle drugs into two seperate Louisiana prisons. He stands accused of hiring Michael Louding aka Marlo Mike to kill 35-year old Terry Boyd in October 2009.

Louding, 18, and Adrian Pittman, 37, also are charged with first-degree murder in Boyd's death.

East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III said it was his idea to have an anonymous jury due to the high profile nature of the case.

"It's just something we thought would be better for the case and the jurors," Moore told KATC.com.

Jurors will be identified by numbers and will not have their name made public.

Boosie's lawyers don't see the need for such safety measures

"There's no evidence of any threats against any potential jurors in this case," said Boosie attorney Martin Regan. "We want to get a fair jury."

Moore added that his office is not seeking the death penalty against Hatch, meaning he would be sentenced to life in prison if convicted as charged.

Video After The Jump

Chicago - A nephew of NBA superstar Dwyane Wade was one of five people wounded in a gang-related shooting at a South Side convenience store Thursday night that also left one man dead.

Two men entered the Bishop Golden Store in the 1400 block of West 79th Street and opened fire on the people inside about 6 p.m., killing one man and wounding five others, police said.

The Rev. Michael Pfleger said Friday that one of the wounded was a nephew of Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade. The nephew is 20-years-old and police sources told FOX Chicago News that he is a gang member.

I don’t have all of the details at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with all involved, including my nephew and sister,” Wade said in a statement. “Having grown up in the inner-city, I am aware of the difficult realities that exist on the streets. One of the goals of my foundation, the Wade’s World Foundation, is to continue to spread the message that the violence needs to stop.

On Friday, with 13 people shot in Chicago in less than six hours, protesters marched on the city's South Side in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood. They said they're mad and some are afraid, but they're willing to take the right steps to take back these streets.

Investigators said Thursday's shooting was gang-related, with rivals shooting at each other, but too many times innocent people are caught in the crossfire and the residents are sick and tired of the senseless shootings and killings.

"I'm not afraid to be in the community," said Andrea Banks, who is a parent. "I feel like we have to make our voice heard. I have kids in this community and I have kids that have to ride the bus. My concern is I want to know that when my kids leave the house that they can get to school safely."

Detectives are reviewing footage from a Chicago Police camera stationed across the street from the store, according to police, who said the suspects fled north on Bishop Street in a silver SUV.

Killed in the attack was Shawndell Harris, 22, of the 9100 block of South Perry Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. He was dead at the scene.

The wounded ranged in age from 16 to 25, police said. Four were initially hospitalized in critical condition, Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said.

Police called the shooting gang-related.

Pfleger, pastor of nearby St. Sabina Church, said he attempted to visit the store on Friday, but the owner would not let him inside.

One of the things I’ve been saying is that we have to do something about these stores that are the street offices of gangs,” Pfleger said. “We have to stop letting these kind of stores destroy our communities by letting the gangs hang out there.”

All six people were inside the small store when they were wounded, but some had stumbled outside by the time paramedics arrived. Numerous shell casings remained on the floor when officers arrived, a source said.

Londale McNeal, a pastor at a church next door to the store, said he heard “about 10 to 12 shots ring out” and saw two men in dark hooded sweatshirts jump into a vehicle. McNeal was with his wife, daughter and grandson.

Police said no one was in custody Friday evening.

On Friday night, a community group will rally at 79th and Bishop streets to send a message to the shooters and call for an end to violence in the Auburn-Gresham neighborhood.

Diggy Simmons' debut album moved 21,000 copies it's first week out to land at No. 13 on the Billboard 200. Not a failure considering the slugging market for album sales, but not quite what the newcomer had hoped to sell.

Karen Civil recently caught up with Diggy to address his album and the 17-year old had a refreshing, mature attitude about it.

"It’s about growth. You look at a whole bunch of people. Look at Reasonable Doubt, when that first came out, that wasn’t anything. And look at Jay now. You could look at Bruno [Mars] recently. When Doo Wops & Hooligans came out, like 50,000 first work and ended up going double plat," he said. "It’s about growth for me. I’m happy that the people who are listening to it are loving it. It’s like having an impact on your life and making them want to aspire to be whatever it is they want to be. Because that’s what Unexpected Arrival is about, it’s about making your arrival in life special. No matter what people say or if they don’t know what you’re capable of. It starts with the belief in you before you try to go and look for other people’s approval. I’m happy that it’s doing that for people."

Now that he's a born again Christian, rapper No Malice (formerly Malice) of the Clipse sees the world a lot differently. One thing he's been keeping an eye on his his brother Pusha T's music.

Pusha took a couple of perceived shots at Drake recently on his "Don't F*ck With Me" freestyle when he raps: "Rappers on their sophomores acting like their boss lords, fame's such a funny thing for sure" and "The swag don't match the sweaters."

No Malice would like for his little brother to cut Drizzy some slack.

"I want Pusha to stop picking on Drake," No Malice told BET.com "I like Drake. Yeah I like Drake, yo."

No Malice may or may not get his wish. Regardless, he's got enough on his plate to take his mind off of any Drake/Pusha beef.

In the upcoming months he'll be dropping his mixtape Hear Ye Him, which will have features from Pusha, Ab-Liva and the Re-Up Gang, as well as production from Boi-1da and Chad from The Neptunes.

No Malice and Pusha will also be dropping their fifth studio album soon.

"We're working on that now. Collecting beats, writing verses," No Malice told BET.com
