Kanye West launched his "Yeezus" tour in Seattle on October 19th and it's already getting a lot of national attention.
The rapper brought out an actor playing the role of Jesus on opening night and suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when his pants ripped open near his crotch area.
Today the talk is centering around the merchandise being sold at the show. T-shirts with skulls and Confederate flags are being peddled at the event.
One such shirt has the words "I Ain't Coming Down" emblazoned on it. Another design has the caption "God Wants You" on it.
There are also tote bags with the flag on it. The items were designed by Wes Lang.
The Confederate flag has long been the subject of many heated debates about whether or not it is a symbol of racism. The consensus has been that it is.
West is surely aware of this fact. Maybe this is another attempt to stir up controversy, but it may backfire.
