Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today announced that it will be returning to Pittsburgh PA next season after a several year hiatus. “Pittsburgh was a great ABA city under the leadership of former NBA/ABA legend Freddie Lewis from McKeesport,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. “We’ve been looking for just the right owners to bring the team back – and in Antjuan “Tjuan Benafactor” Washington and “Ace” Pippens,” we think we have just the people to maximize the potential of the team. Several websites reported that June Bug died a week ago, but according to TMZ, he held on longer than doctors expected and passed away Sunday morning, March 30, from colon cancer.
