Former Broncos receiver Cody Latimer, currently a member of the Washington Redskins, was arrested on five charges following an incident early Saturday in Englewood.

Bail was set at $25,000 and Latimer posted bond and was released late Saturday morning.

Latimer, 27, was booked on five charges: Second-degree assault, menacing, illegal discharge of a firearm, prohibited use of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

According to the Douglas Co. Sheriff’s Dept., deputies were called at 12:11 a.m. to the Zenith Meridian Apartments on a call of shots fired inside an apartment.

While in route to scene, deputies learned the reporting party had heard arguing and what they believed were gunshots. Once inside the apartment, deputies detailed three individuals. One had minor injuries (unrelated to a gunshot). Latimer was taken into custody.

Latimer played four years for the Broncos (2014-17), catching 35 passes in 45 games. He caught 58 passes in 21 games over two years for the New York Giants and joined the Redskins on March 25.
