The nominees for induction next year into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced Tuesday, October 18, and Tupac Shakur was selected in his first year of eligibility.

It would be hard to imagine Shakur not being inducted, given his list of classic albums released before and after his September 1996 murder in Las Vegas at the age of 25.

Shakur's musical legacy began in 1991 with his debut album titled "2Pacalypse Now." He would follow that up with "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.," "Me Against the World," "All Eyez on Me," "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory" and many more.
