Too $hort is sitting in a jail cell cooling his heels. In his mind, it's a much better alternative than being on probation.
As we reported in March 2013, Short Dawg, real name Todd Anthony Shaw, was pulled over in Los Angeles for traffic violations. The rapper seemed intoxicated and tried to outrun the cops on foot, but didn't make it far. He was charged with DUI and felony narcotics possession.
He was sentenced to 3 years probation and community service. The 49-year old Bay Area legend made a court appearance today and it turns out he didn't complete his community service, according to TMZ.
The judge offered $hort more time if he agreed to 3 more years of probation. Tired of being monitored, the rapper rejected the offer and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
