It was an honest mistake, but the internet is heartless and shows no mercy.
Steve Harvey was hosting the Miss Universe pageant Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, when he incorrectly announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez had won the crown. The "Family Feud" host quickly realized his mistake and apologized, before naming Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach the winner.

Harvey later took to Twitter to apologize again.
I'd like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.
