T.I. is making some major moves with his Grand Hustle imprint. During an appearance on MTV's RapFix Live Wednesday the Atlanta rapper confirmed that he had added Iggy Azalea and UK rapper Chipmunk to his team. He also announced that he and Houston rapper Trae The Truth would be doing a joint venture to put out Trae's next album.

It had previously been announced that Tip would be executive producing Iggy's debut album. The two of them working out a long term agreement just seemed to make sense to both camps.

"I think her exact words were: 'It's very smart of you to call me because I'm going to be smashing sh*t for quite some time now and no one will be able to breathe if they're not on my team. So it's good that you'll be here, so you'll have oxygen," T.I. said of Iggy's direct approach.

The Aussie import confirmed that it went down just as Tip explained it.

"I did say that," she said. "I was like, 'I'm going to be a bushfire that sucks up all the oxygen so nobody can breathe and you might want an oxygen mask.'"

Chipmunk (now known as Chip) has already enjoyed huge success overseas with a platinum album and the Chris Brown assisted single "Champion." In linking up with T.I. he hopes to make the same thing happen in the U.S.

“Everyone was like, you’re young, you’re 21, someone just needs to dive in at the deep end in America and just try and bridge the gap a little bit more between the cultures musically,” he said. “Tip was rocking with what I was doing, so we just linked up.”
