Steph Curry believes he and Diddy are moving in the right direction in their pursuit to buy the Carolina Panthers.
TMZ Sports caught up with the Golden State Warriors star in Hollywood on Friday night, January 5, to get an update.
"We're closer than we were yesterday, for sure. This is a real thing, so hopefully it happens sooner than later," Curry said, while walking with his wife Ayesha. "I've talked to Diddy for sure. Kind of let the whole thing play out. Lot of work to do though."
Diddy announced his desire to buy the NFL franchise last month after Panthers owner and founder Jerry Richardson announced December 17 he was putting the team up for sale.
Richardson is being investigated by the league for alleged workplace misconduct.
