Video After The Jump

The beef between Soulja Boy and Chicago native Rico Recklezz doesn't appear to be dying down.

To those who may not have been paying attention to this conflict here's a quick rundown. The two rapper's began a war of words when Soulja was beefing with Lil Yachty over model India Love. Rico came to Lil Boat's defense and things began to escalate from there.

Rico responded by challenging the SODMG boss to a fight for $10,000, that could be aired to the public.

"FUK IT LETS BOX 1 ON 1 For 10K @SouljaBoy WE CAN YOUTUBE IT TMZ IT WATEVA WEN U READY???

Rico would go on to release two Soulja boy diss songs/videos ... "No Talking" and "Crank That."

Afterwards a couple of Chicago goons got Soulja's number, called him and let him know that they weren't going to allow him to harm anyone from their city, and the threats must cease at once.

"The nigga put my name in a song," Soulja responded. "Them texts weren't even about him. I'm on paperwork right now, you feel me? So, we don't even play those type of games. Ain't nobody gon' put no money on nobody head. None of that, bro. That nigga just need to holla at me on the phone."

Beef dead, right? Well ... we're not exactly sure. On Friday, November 18, Vlad TV aired an interview with Soulja, in which he talked about the situation.

"Shorty ass ain't on a crumb. Shorty ass ain't on shit," Soulja told Vlad. "He just dissed the whole Chicago [on the song Hit Em Up] and called, apologized to everybody he dissed. He looking for clout. I don't know why we even talking 'bout him right now. But he looking for clout. That's what he looking for right now. He can't wait to watch this interview and me say his name, 'cause I never say his name and I don't even know him. He dissing me because of Lil Yachty," he continued. "You dissing me about another man because of a bitch he ain't ever met. That's how you know the whole situation goofy. It ain't about no money. This is fake beef. You trying to get famous off of me. You made a song called Crank That on my beat. You goofy as hell."

"I'm having $100,000 cash on me right now. This man ain't ever seen a million dollars in his life. I made a million dollars when I was 17. Rico what? Boy, y'all is tweaking right now," Soulja said. "The beef over with, you feel me? But, whatever. If a nigga got a problem with me ... niggas can't beat me, bro. I'll beat the shit out of a nigga. We shooting the shit out. All that, you feel me? I just want the shit to be gone. Because I'm about to sign this million dollar deal with my record label. And I ain't trying to have the Feds knock at my door if something happen to this man."
