Video After The JumpHip Hop mogul Russell Simmons stopped by 'Naughty But Nice With Rob' recently for an interview. During one segment he was asked about his good friend Kanye West.
Simmons said he hadn't spoken with Ye in a while, but expressed disappointment with Kanye's apology to George Bush during a Today Show interview with Matt Lauer.
"I'm a little disappointed he apologized to George Bush. I felt like why do that sh*t? Russell said. "We have to accept that celebrities have great power. And some of them have great voices, and poets have always had great power. Kanye says things that people think but don't always get to say, so when he says 'George Bush don't like black people,' it was what millions of Americans thought and felt."
