Ray J had the book thrown at him by the Los Angeles Country District Attorney, stemming from a drunken incident at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on May 30th.
As we previously reported, Ray, real name William Ray Norwood Jr., was drinking at the hotel when he was asked to leave by security. He refused and police were called.
Brandy's younger brother reportedly spit in an officer's face. When he was placed in the back of a patrol car he kicked out a window. He was arrested and charged with vandalism on a police car, resisting arrest, trespassing, private person's arrest and battery on a police officer. His bond was set at $20,000. He bailed out the following day
On Monday, July 21, the D.A. charged him with 3 counts of assault and battery, sexual battery, 4 counts of resisting arrest and 2 counts of vandalism. All of the charges are misdemeanors.
What's interesting is the police and D.A. disagree on the sexual battery charge, according to TMZ. He's accused of touching a woman's butt while at the hotel, but cops say Ray didn't do it intentionally.
