When the title of your album is Black Panties fans would expect a raunchy song or two. R. Kelly delivers on "Marry the Pussy."
The R&B superstar recently sat down with MTV to talk about the inspiration for the track.
Well, 'Marry the Pussy,' first of all, it's my favorite song on the album. I think it's a classic, myself, I didn't do it for radio; I just did it because I heard it and it felt good to me. That's usually the way I roll in the studio, I'm gonna be free and then I'm gonna let the world edit what they want to edit," he explained. "But I'm going to be free and do what I feel, and 'Marry the Pussy' came to me outta nowhere in the studio just messing with a track and it felt good to me.
Could there be a second version in the works?
You know, I might remix it or something if it don't go right.
