President Obama was overcome with emotion Wednesday while thanking his campaign staff in Chicago for helping him get reelected. It was a very rare moment as the President of the United States publicly shed tears of joy.
“What you guys have done means that the work I’m doing is important. And I’m really proud of that. I’m really proud of all of you,” Obama said, as tears streamed down his face.
It's the second time this week Obama shed tears while speaking. He also became emotional at his final campaign rally in Iowa on Monday night.
