There's a new development in the case of Notorious B.I.G's murder. It has been learned that he was killed with rounds of Gecko 9mm armor piercing ammunition. That brand of ammunition is made in Germany and is rarely seen in the U.S..
Even with the latest discovery, the investigation has moved at a snail's pace. One detective, Russel Poole quit the LAPD because he felt like his investigation into Biggie's death was being stonewalled by the police force. Poole believed strongly that Officer David Mack had committed the murder along with a friend Amir Muhammad.
Allhiphop reports that this new information came via the Freedom of Information act. In the report the FBI blames LAPD officers for helping the killer escape.
Many LAPD cops moonlighted as security for Death Row Records owner Suge Knight at the time.
