I really don't hand out "N***a Please" cards very often. But when I do you best believe it's well deserved.
Radio personality Charlamagne Tha God who was fired from Philadelphia’s The Beat 100.3 last fall. An incident some speculated Jay-Z had something to do with, recently chopped it up with Vibe.com.
First off, I like what Charlamagne Tha God brings to the air. He says what he wants and is controversial and funny in a good way most of the time.
He was a little out of line with something he to Vibe though in my opinion.
C.T.G. was hyping them up on 'The Hood State Of The Union' comedy sketch he does with fellow comedian Lil Duval.
“The Hood State of the Union is me and Lil Duval’s politically incorrect views and potentially dangerous rhetoric,” he said. “When you look at Barack Obama’s State of the Union address, he’s talking to America. We’re doing it too but it’s from a hood perspective."
Mmmhmm, C.T.G. do us all a favor and never, and I mean ever compare anything you're doing the President of the free world. I get what you were trying to say I think. But it came out all wrong, so "N***a Please."
On the flip side of that, Charlamagne will be bringing his much needed brand of humor back to the radio air waves next week when he debuts on Charleston, SC ‘s The Box.
