Nate Dogg's fans are very happy today after it was announced that his fourth and final solo album will be released in 2013. According to AllHipHop the name of the album is It's A Wonderful Life. It will be released through a new deal between Seven Arts Music and United Media and Music Group,
The project will consist of previously unreleased material and will boast heavyweight features from Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Jay-Z.
In other Nate Dogg news, his children have won a legal battle involving his estate after his mother Ruth Holmes and ex-wife LaToya Calvin threw in the towel.
LaToya took over Nate's estate after his passing in 2011 from complications of multiple strokes. The singer did not leave a will. In August LaToya filed court documents seeking to have Holmes appointed as her co-administrator.
Nate's children were very upset by the move and asked that a professional administrator be appointed because they believed the two women were only out for themselves and would not spread the wealth equally.
Nate's daughter, Aundrane Hale, told TMZ back in September that Holmes was never a grandmother to the kids and had withheld money from them in the past. She also said that LaToya didn't even attend Nate's funeral.
LaToya withdrew her petition for control earlier this month, and her lawyer told TMZ, "Nate's children wanted a 'professional administration' and Ruth and LaToya decided to withdraw to avoid conflict with the children."
As far as who is in control of the estate now, that will be determined later.
