What seemed to be a never ending saga between Nas and Kelis regarding their 8-year old son, Knight, has been settled.
TMZ reports that the former couple will now share joint physical custody.
Nas took Kelis to court last year alleging she controlled when and for how long he got to see his son. He asked for specific dates of visitation to be established by a judge.
According to TMZ, Nas will now get Knight on Father's Day and Kelis gets the child on Mother's Day. They'll alternate Knight's birthdays. He gets the even years and she gets the odd years.
There's still the matter of child support the two are battling over.
Kelis has filed legal documents in February claiming the $8,000 Nas pays per month in child support isn't enough. She argues that when that amount was set the "If I Ruled the World" hit maker wasn't doing as well financially as he is now.
Kelis says additional funds are needed to pay for 50% of Knight's school-related costs, 50% of child care and 50% of unreimbursed health care.
She hasn't specified how much more she wants and a judge has yet to make a ruling.
