Video After The Jump
For several months now there has been growing speculation that Havoc and Prodigy of Mobb Deep are having issues. Back in April, The Breakfast Club leaked an alleged taped conversation of Havoc saying Prodigy had engaged in homosexual activities while incarcerated. Havoc denied it was him on the tape and attempted to dead the rumors he was beefing with P.
More recently a video surfaced online of Havoc's cousin, Ferg Brim, on the phone reportedly talking to Prodigy, confronting him about P telling the police that Ferg would be shooting up Mobb Deep shows.
Then yesterday Havoc released a new music video for "Same Sh*t Different Day" where it sounds like he is dissing Prodigy.
"N*ggas out here dry snitching writing books, lying out they ass just to sell a book," raps Hav in the song.
N.O.R.E. of Capone-N-Noreaga called into Invasion Radio this week and was asked to speak on the problems he sees within Mobb Deep. He said that in his opinion it all stems from Prodigy's book "My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy." And the fact that it mentions Havoc's deceased brother.
"In my opinion the reason why Havoc is going crazy is because of the fact that Prodigy did bring up his brother," N.O.R.E. said. "I think that Havoc was chilling, he was sober, he was relaxed in the cut, and when this book came out [Prodigy] brung up so many past stories and dead skeletons that's in the closet that he actually broke up his own group."
