Pics After The Jump
Nineteen years after one of the most influential and charismatic rappers in history was taken from us, a movie about his life and death is finally being made.
Production on the Tupac Shakur biopic titled "All Eyez On Me" began earlier this week in Atlanta. The man who has been cast to play the music icon is Demetrius Shipp, Jr.
Demetrius, who has no previous acting experience, was cast by producer L.T. Hutton. Since accepting the role of a lifetime, he has been taking acting classes 4 times a week. He was selected largely in part because of his remarkable resemblance to Shakur, according to TMZ.
The Morgan Creek Productions flick is being directed by Benny Boom.
