While for the most part things have been looking up for the Philly rapper he did get some bad news recently.

Judge Genece Brinkley said Monday the rapper, whose real name is Robert Williams, violated an order restricting his performance scheduling and failing to properly keep in touch with his probation officer.

Meek will not be allowed to tour. travel or perform, except for charity. For a month according to Philly.com.

"You need to get yourself together," Brinkley told Meek during Monday's 2 1/2-hour probation hearing in Common Pleas Court in Philadelphia., "You are going to be home for Christmas and New Year's."

Meek's attorney argued that the judge was preventing the rapper from making a living.

"Robert Williams is on probation, not Meek Mill," said his lawyer Gary Silver. "You are preventing him from earning his livelihood. This isn't like mixtapes being made in the basement of someone's house. This is for real. He has a job that appears to be interesting to a lot of people. He wants to earn a legal living. It just happens to be on a national and international stage."
