Video After The Jump

This has to be the strangest beef in the history of rap. In one corner you have one of the greatest rappers in the history of hip hop, Ghostface Killah. In the other you have pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli.

As we previously reported, this feud began last Friday, January 22, when Ghostface was asked by TMZ to give his thoughts on Shkreli's purchase of the Wu Tang Clan's $2 million album "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin."

Ghost wasn't happy about it because when Shkreli was the CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, he hiked the price of the anti-parasitic drug Daraprim from $13.50 a pill to $750 per pill overnight.

Ghost referred to Shkreli as "shithead" and criticized his business practices.

"You don't take an AIDS pill that you have for like $7 and make it like $800. You don't do that like that. I don't care if he bought the Wu Tang whatever, whatever, whatever," Ghost said. "I don't even know him, but when I heard what he did with the AIDS [medication] that's not right."

Shkreli responded with a tweet, saying the Wu Tang rapper was past his prime.

TMZ spoke with Ghostface afterwards to get his reaction.

"This the man I'm beefing with? The Michael Jackson nose kid?" Ghost asked while showing a photo of Shkreli on his phone. "Come on bruh, you don't even wanna do it. I'll break your heart in four days."

Stubborn and with time on his hands while he awaits trial for securities fraud conspiracy, securities fraud and wire fraud conspiracy, Shkreli threatened to end Ghost's career.

"A @GhostfaceKillah response tomorrow evening. Don't cry, Ghost. All rap careers come to an eventual end. Long time coming, motherfucker," he wrote on his Twitter page.

Today we found out what Shkreli was referring to. In a bizarre video that looks like a parody, the executive is seen with three other men who are wearing masks. He refers to Ghost by his government name, Dennis, and demands an apology or he will erase the rapper's vocals from "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin."

"For whatever reason you think it's OK to beef with me, but that's a big mistake. At the end of the day, I'm very sorry for you," he said. "You're an old man—an old man that's lost his relevance, and you're trying to claim the spotlight from my spotlight. That's not going to work, Ghost—Dennis. In fact, I think that if you ever say some dumb shit again, this album, this Shaolin, I'm going to erase all your shit from this album. I'm going to erase you from the record books of rap. You're gonna be done. You're my son ... you have to listen to me. I butter your bread, you understand me? Without me you're nothing. Even though I pity you I have to give you some punishment. I expect you to write me a written apology from the heart. Some contrition. Some long letter where you explain your sorrow and sadness for what you've done. Be real, as your video once said, and uh, don't ever fucking mention my name again, or there will be more of a price to pay than just this video."

What do you guys think? Is Shkreli just trolling for attention?
