Video After The Jump
Maino opened up about being wrongly accused of beefing with Troy Ave amid the shooting at Irving Plaza that killed Ronald "Banga" McPhatter and injured four others. Maino explained that he was confused by the affiliation, and said that it might've come from people perceiving him as a "goon" over the years.
During the conversation, Maino also spoke about his new mixtape, Party, and Pain, and working with Fat Joe, whose career he has admired over the decades. He also spoke about NY rap having an identity problem, not preserving their sound, and Nicki Minaj not always being considered an NY rapper.
