Video After The JumpRakim breaks his silence and gives his opinion on Nas's song 'Unauthorized Biography of Rakim' off of the Street's Disciples cd. Interestingly enough, Ra says Nas has never reached out to him to this day to explain why he did the song which makes him think the QB mc may have had an "angle" for doing the joint. The one thing that is clear from this interview is Rakim didn't appreciate having intimate details of his life revealed on record. Especially by someone he has no relationship with, business or otherwise.

NEW YORK, NY -- 10/27/09 -- E1 Music is excited to announce the release of "The Avon Barksdale Story - Legends of the Unwired" -- in March 2010. This gripping film won Best Docudrama at this year's NY International Independent Film & Video Festival and reveals the raw truth about death, drugs, and violence in the streets of Baltimore, MD. In "The Avon Barksdale Story," the real Nathan Avon "Bodie" Barksdale tells all to actor Wood Harris, who played his on screen character in HBO's critically acclaimed series "The Wire."
"The Wire" was based on the lives of real gangsters. "The Avon Barksdale Story" is the first to chronicle the actual lives of these real people. Barksdale's real name, Nathan Avon Barksdale, and his nickname, "Bodie," were both used in the series as composite characters. Avon Barksdale was "The Wire's" first season's central character. The storyline focused on the Barksdale clan and their ruthless hold on Baltimore's underworld and the intense efforts of law enforcement to stop them. Barksdale was a real crime figure in Baltimore.
Barksdale says he consulted David Simon, the creator of "The Wire," during the early filming of the highly successful mini-series. He says, "'The Wire' was one long commercial for this!"
During the drug wars of the '80s, long before "The Wire's" drug kingpin Avon Barksdale entered the mind of David Simon, a young man (named Nathan Avon "Bodie" Barksdale) was in the belly of one of the most violent neighborhoods on Baltimore's Westside. The Lexington Terrace Projects was one of the most notorious areas in the city making it the perfect backdrop for HBO's "The Wire." But unlike David Simon, an admitted outsider, this story possesses the intimate detailing which can only come from an insider's view. The real Barksdale brings the riveting fact-filled account of his world now known as "The Avon Barksdale Story - Legends of the Unwired." A must see story for all true fans of "The Wire!"
This film was financed, directed, and produced by the KAJ Enterprise film group.

Video After The JumpNY Daily News Reports
Two suspects were arrested and third is being questioned in the gang rape of a California teen outside a high school homecoming dance, police said Tuesday.
The 15-year-old Richmond High School student hospitalized in stable condition after the attack, which happened while as many as 15 people, all males, looked on but didn't help or call police, investigators said.
The sex assault took place on school grounds Saturday while the dance was under way inside the school, authorities said.
"She was raped, beaten, robbed and dehumanized by several suspects who were obviously OK enough with it to behave that way in each other's presence," said Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan.
"What makes it even more disturbing is the presence of others," Gagan said. "People came by, saw what was happening and failed to report it."
Manuel Ortega, 19, a former student at the school, was arrested soon after he ran from the scene. He faces charges of rape, robbery and kidnapping, and was held on $800,000 bail.
A 15-year-old was also arrested and charged with one count of felony sexual assault. A third teenager was being questioned, police said.
"Based on witness statements and suspect statements, and also physical evidence, we know that she was raped by at least four suspects committing multiple sex acts," Gagan said.
"As people announced over time that this was going on, more people came to see, and some actually participated," Gagan said.
Police said a "full-court press" was under way, including reviews of Facebook and YouTube, to find other attackers and bystanders who witnessed the rape.
"We're looking in particular to see if anyone posted any video of the incident," Gagan said.
Several other individuals were detained but not arrested, Simon said.
The victim was found unconscious under a bench shortly before midnight Saturday after police received a call from someone who overheard people "reminiscing about the incident," Gagan said.
Police said the girl left the dance and was walking to meet her father for a ride home when a classmate invited her to join a group drinking in the courtyard.
"Right now, we're looking at toxicology reports to determine her blood-alcohol content and to determine if she was drugged."
"This just gets worse and worse the more you dig into it," Gagan told CNN. "It was like a horror movie after looking at the evidence. I can't believe not one person felt compelled to help her."

Actress Angelina Jolie bedded her mother's boyfriend when she was just 16, according to a bombshell new biography penned by controversial writer Andrew Morton.
According to Now magazine, Jolie and her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, could not come to terms with each other after the Oscar winning star confessed to the act, and they struggled to repair their damaged relationship.
"Marcheline had a live-in boyfriend whom she was very much in love with, but Ange slept with him when she was 16 and barely out of school," a source told the magazine. "Her mother found out and ended her relationship with the man."
The source also says: "When Ange admitted the story to her brother James just a few weeks ago, even he turned on her. She has hardly anyone left in life who likes or trusts her."
Angelina's mother died of cancer, in 2007, at the age of 56. At the time, Angelina was said to be devastated and was noticeably thinner after her mother's passing.
Morton's unauthorized book about Jolie is expected to be released sometime this winter.
He's also written controversial tell-all biographies on other superstars including Tom Cruise, Madonna, and the late Princess Diana.

Former Bad Boy rapper Shyne is being deported back to his homeland Belize on Wednesday (October 27) after serving almost nine years in jail for his role in a shooting in New York that involved his then mentor Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jennifer Lopez.
Media reports monitored in Belize confirm that the rapper is being deported by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.).
Shyne's family has enlisted the services of Harvard Law Professor and President Obama insider Professor Charles Ogletree to try and secure a pardon from New York Governor David Paterson to allow the rapper to re-enter the U.S.
Under U.S. law, convicted felons are deported to their country of origin following the end of the sentence. Shyne (born Jamal Barrow) was born and raised in Belize but moved to Flatbush, New York as a teenager but never gained U.S. citizenship,
A television station controlled by the ruling United Democratic Party of Prime Minister Dean Barrow, who is Shyne's father, reported today that the rapper has been expelled from the U.S. and will arrive in Belize on Wednesday via a Continental Airlines flight from Houston.
The station reports that Shyne's father and other relatives will be on hand to receive the rapper at the Belize City airport.
One Belize radio station is reporting that rather than immediately attempting to emigrate to Europe to re-start his rapping career, Shyne will now try to utilise his Belize passport to move to a Caribbean country such as Jamaica to use as a base for re-igniting his recording career.

Recently freed drug kingpin “Freeway” Rick Ross has revealed plans for his career and record label now that he has his freedom, after a 20-year-prison sentence.
The Los Angeles-based rising entrepreneur has launched a label and website, FreewayEnterprise.com, which will seek new faces to star in new movies being produced by the reformed drug dealer.
Ross appeared on AllHipHop Radio’s Eric B. and Friends morning show today (October 26) and revealed details about his post-prison plans.
“I’m working on four movies right now, including one with Mike Epps," Ross revealed. "I am going to be letting people off the site play in the movie. If you are trying to get on that’s what we are doing, putting people on."
expressed his support for boxer Floyd Mayweather and rapper 50 Cent, two celebrities that have feuded with Miami rapper Rick Ross, who adopted the elder Ross’ name.
"50 Cent called me the day I got out and let me know if there was anything I needed to just let him know," Ross told AllHipHop.com Radio. "I don’t know how he got my cell but the morning I got out he called me and expressed his support."
During the interview, Ross broke down his strained relationship with Philadelphia rapper Freeway and Miami emcee Rick Ross, who was born William Roberts III.
“In the beginning I was offended being in prison. Prison makes you a little bitter. I was a little bitter that they didn’t reach out and show me some love for using my handle,” Ross continued. “But right now I am enjoying life. Freeway reached out a week before I got out, but Rick Ross has never reached out, he still hasn’t reached out.”
Ross was freed from the Texarkana Federal Prison in September of 2009, after serving 14-years of a 20-year sentence, after he was busted purchasing 100 kilos of cocaine from undercover agents in 1996.
An attempt to contact rapper Rick Ross was successful when the rap artist first burst upon the national scene in 2001, but the conversation didn’t go well.
“He abruptly stopped taking my phone calls," Ross told AllHipHop.com. "I didn’t come with my hand out, I came with ideas that I thought could make their career better. I don’t want to be around nobody where I am just getting fed, I want to be somebody that brings substance to the table.”
The drug baron, who often counted up to as much as a million-dollars per day through his crack dealing operations, is currently finalizing his autobiography in addition to a film centered around his controversial life.
“I am more prepared now than I ever have been before in my life,” Ross stated. “I took all my prior experiences and ive been able to flip them into this legitimate world. I’ve transformed my drug experiences into legitimate business.”
