Nas also said he has no plans of retiring from rap anytime soon. Meek Mill has caught some flack recently for his song "Amen." The track, which also features Drake has been criticized as being blasphemous by pastor Jomo. K. Johnson and others for some of it's lyrics. During an appearance on 106 & ParkMonday, July 16th Meek said he never intended for the song to be offensive to anyone.

"I don't think no preacher or no church approve of any type of rap music because rap music period there's a lot of bad stuff that's being said, but at the end of the day it's real life," Meek said. "And me I wasn't trying to disrespect no religion or anything like that. My whole family is Christian. I have a half Christian, half Muslim family. The situation, the song, that's what energy it felt and if anybody feel disrespected, I ain't do it in that way."

Meek said when he heard the song it gave him a certain feeling and he went with that feeling while writing it.

"I did [the song] because it was a good feeling," he continued. "Like when you hear the beat it's got the church organs in it. That's the feeling it gave me, so I said Amen or church. I didn't do it with bad intentions at the end of the day.”

Audio After The Jump

A young woman has come forward with testimony that George Zimmerman molested her for a decade and that he and his family are racist against black people.

The woman, identified only as "witness 9," said the Zimmerman's "don't like black people if they don't act like white people. They like black people if they act white."

In one part of her recorded testimony released today witness 9 recalled a conversation she had with George's mother.

"Somebody was talking about Obama and I said 'Oh yeah did you hear about that?' And [Zimmerman's mom] asked what? I said 'something to do with Obama, we were talking about it.' And she said 'I don't like Obama.' And I said 'why not?' just thinking she was joking. And she said 'because he's black, I am a racist.' just loud and proud," witness 9 said.

Witness 9 also said that George began molesting her when she was 6-year old and he was 8.

"This is the first time in my life I'm not afraid of him," she told investigators according to ABC News. "I know he is not going to be out in public. I'm not afraid of him now."

She said the incidents would often happen during family get-togethers. She claims George would touch her against her will.

"Every time that we would go up there, I would look at him and he would give me a certain look and I would know it would happen," she told investigators. "I wanted to believe that everyone was good and that people change. I wanted it to just stop. I didn't want to ever have to tell anyone. I didn't want to be sad and Georgie always made himself look so good. He always sucked up to my dad. He was charming…When I got there no one was there, but I was already scared. I wanted to run, but I didn't know what to do. He told me to lay on the bed but I did. I felt that he had an erection. I was scared. I didn't know what was going to happen but I got up and ran."

Witness 9 said in 2005 she finally told her family who confronted George at a restaurant.

"Instead of talking about it, he sat down at the end of the booth and said I'm sorry, and just got up and walked out," she said.

She added that she never saw the family act on their racist feelings even though they talked about them often.

Defense attorney Mark O'Mara made a last-minute attempt to block the release of witness 9's statement as well as the jail calls. He filed a motion this morning at the Seminole County Courthouse, asking that their release be delayed. He argued that the testimony would never be used in the trial and would do harm to his client in the court of public opinion. but Special Prosecutor Angela Corey's office made the decision to release them anyway.

Zimmerman, 28, is awaiting trial on a charge of second-degree murder. He killed 17-year old unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida

Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch captain at the time. He said he killed Martin in self defense after being attacked.

A$AP Mob, Sony Music Entertainment, and Fader Media Network are being sued in New York County Supreme Court by a stage manager who is claiming he was beat up during a 2011 FADER Fort show.

Anthony Montalbano, who works for Best Instrument Rental, the company hired by Fader Media for the event claims he was attacked by A$AB Mob. He says the group "shouted obscenities indicating their dissatisfaction with the microphones and damaged musical instruments and equipment that was on the stage."

According to Courthouse News, the band started breaking the sound equipment at one point. Montalbano says he was told by Fader Media Network to go save the equipment, but was not provided with security.

"Plaintiff was then grabbed by the defendants and continuously punched in the face and head for several minutes and said defendants hit plaintiff in the head with a microphone," the complaint states. "Plaintiff was covered in blood and sustained serious and lasting injuries, including but not limited to an open scalp wound, concussion, abrasions, lacerations and pain in his head, neck, back, knees and ribs."

Montalbano says three band members were charged with assault and that he needed 10 stitches to close a wound in his scalp.

He is seeking "compensatory and punitive damages for negligent hiring, emotional distress, assault and battery and negligence."

Video After The Jump

Via CBS News

(CBS News) Beyonce is front and center in a new video posted online by President Barack Obama's re-election campaign, reading a letter she wrote to first lady Michelle Obama.

In the letter, which was first posted as a handwritten note on Beyonce's official blog back in April, the Grammy-winner praises Mrs. Obama as "the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman."

"She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the first lady. No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving and sensitive," the letter continues.

Beyonce, who welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January with husband Jay-Z, adds, "Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us. I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to."

In the video, the singer explains, "I wrote a letter to the first lady because I wanted her to know that I'm very grateful for everything she's doing for our country, and also for women around the world."

Mrs. Obama responded to the letter via Twitter back in April:

In May, the first lady took daughters Sacha and Malia to Beyonce's concert in Atlantic City, N.J. The singer also performed during the inauguration celebrations for the Obamas in January 2009, singing "At Last" as the president and first lady danced.
