2016 XXL Freshman rapper Lil Uzi Vert was arrested in Atlanta following a wild police chase.
TMZ reports that the 22-year old Philadelphia native and a friend caught the attention of cops, Thursday, December 8, when they were spotted riding dirt bikes without helmets or lights. The two allegedly headed the wrong way down a one way street, crossed five lanes of traffic without signaling and drove on a sidewalk.
During the police chase Uzi spilled out after losing control of his bike, then attempted to get away on foot. He and his friend were soon apprehended.
Uzi was charged with several traffic violations, including no driver's license, obstruction and reckless driving.
He was released from custody the following day after posting $6,500 bond.
