Lil Kim could soon lose her $3 million Bergen County, New Jersey mansion.
The Queen Bee, real name Kimberly Jones, bought the home in 2002 for $2.2 million with a $1.6 million mortgage.
She agreed to pay $9,935 a month to her creditor HSBC Bank, but over the years has fallen behind on payments. Each time the Brooklyn, New York rapper has been able to work out extensions to avoid foreclosure.
However, Bossip reports that the payments have stopped being made. Kim's legal team has been unable to come up with a financial plan that HSBC agrees with, so there will be a mediation hearing in June.
HSBC is asking for full payment on the mansion, plus damages and court costs. If no deal is reached or there is no delay granted by a judge the mansion will be auctioned at a sheriffs sale.
