Chris Brown's feud with former friend and collaborator Kevin McCall has gotten out of control.
TMZ reports that McCall was shot in the foot Wednesday as he left a convenience store in South Central Los Angeles.
The singer suffered 3 broken toes and a fractured tibia.
Rumors popped up that either McCall accidentally shot himself (which he denied) or Brown was somehow involved.
Responding to the Brown rumor on Twitter Saturday, January 6, McCall made an ominous statement that could easily be interpreted as a threat on Brown and his daughter Royalty's lives.
“Chris Brown and his Seed would be in a Casket if he had anything to do with me being shot,” McCall tweeted. "Stop playing with rumors or I can't promise CB will make 29! I kept him alive 7 years now in L.A. Don't take the humbleness you see in me as weakness."
McCall deleted the tweet and later attempted to clarify what he meant.
"I don’t see wat I said wrong. The Bible says and eye for and eye...Chris didn’t do it so don’t bring his name up in my life and death situation because you playing with gossip but L.A ain’t a game. I didn’t threaten anyone I told you how life would play out. I saved him hella X’s," he wrote. "If I get touched people will die. Who wants to try it out? I don’t. I’ve been shot it hurts. I’m saying leave da Gangsta shit ALONE leave them rumors alone or you gonna make L.A people tear shit up -I can’t keep the Pitbull a under control when they hungry they even bite They own."
