Hip hop artists have a powerful platform and fans who will listen to their message if they would speak out against injustice, but most would rather stay silent and count their money while blood is being shed in the streets.
Thankfully, rappers like Young Buck, Killer Mike, Boosie Badazz, Lupe Fiasco, Immortal Technique, Willie D, Public Enemy, Beyonce and now Joe Budden are letting their voices be heard, damn the consequences.
