Jennifer Lopez is open to appearing on the upcoming return of "In Living Color" according to Access Hollywood. Lopez got her big break when she was a 'Fly Girl' on the groundbreaking sketch comedy series created by Keenen Ivory Wayans.

I haven’t heard from [Keenen], but if he called me and wanted me to do something, that would be awesome,” Jennifer told Access on Sunday.

Lopez says she owes a lot to Keenan and the show that was also served as a launching pad for the careers of Jim Carrey, David Alan Grier, Tommy Davidson, Jamie Foxx and Damon Wayans.

I owe Keenen a lot," Jennifer said. "From the beginning of my career, he always believed in me, he always was constantly putting in my brain, ‘You’re gonna be a star, you’re gonna be a star, do you know that?’ And he was a mentor to me so I wish him the best with that.”

"In Living Color" is set to air two new half hour episodes on Fox this Spring. If the ratings are good the show will be picked up by the network for the following season.

The show will feature an all new cast, but it's a safe bet Keenen would find a spot for Lopez in a skit if she wanted to appear.
