Feature film "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire." is doing it big. Critics from coast to coast have given the movie high marks. Their praise was justified today (December 15) as the film garnered three Golden Globe nominations.
Newcomer Gabourey Sidibe is up for best actress in a drama while Mo'Nique was nominated for best supporting actress.
The big prize however, could come in the Best Picture Drama category. where "Precious" will compete against "Avatar," "The Hurt Locker," "Inglourious Basterds," and "Up in the Air." for the coveted award.
The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 5-8 PM (PST) and 8-11 PM (EST) live coast to coast from The Beverly Hilton on NBC
